Not many thing send me around the bend as much as the misspelling of the word lose.
I wondered what happened to ‘ok’ or ‘new’, or whatever moniker he was using lately.
Now I know.
Or leaving the ‘s’ off a plural.

The hard news department of QR77 has bothered me for a number of years now…AGW piffle, failure to identify criminal suspects ethnicity, pandering pieces on “cyber bullying” etc…and Dave Rutherford is packing it in.

This is the result of whole word reading, auto-correction in Microsoft Word, and the complete elimination of spelling drills in school.
Aside from the educational failures, has anyone enough shame to admit their personal failures in not doing well in English language classes or taking a journalist job? Maybe? No?
Not shame,Osumashi Kinyobe(any relation to Wan?).No urnalist has the ethics or morals to admit they are wrong.It is called cowardice.Sorta like a psycho politico(all of them)admitting they made a mistake.Unfortunately,socialists/commies,useful eedjits,and leftards thrive on that fact.(speaking of that,where’s phil?)
Actually I used to be good at spelling (be a good speller?) but as I get up in age, I become worse (worser); course, I’m not much of a typist either. Though typos are just a matter of not rereading what you’ve typed. Reread, rewrite and edit, edit, edit!

Journalism school plus illiterates resulting from a ‘no-zero’ policy = this piece of garbage.

In fairness, it does say “CKNW / News * Talk,” not “CKNW / Read * Write.” Just sayin’ (as someone who did talk radio in Windsor, Ontariobin the early 1980s).
Justthinkin, I think it’s a bit of idiocy and hubris.
