  1. Wow! Small world … I went to high school with that producer, Steve Stohn. It was the 1960s, UTS (Univ. of Toronto Schools) at 371 Bloor St. West in Toronto, corner of Spadina. He was a nerd (UTS had lots of them then and now) and I was a jock. UTS is basically a ‘brain school’ (several Rhodes Scholars) that used to let in just enough jocks to win some games … now, it’s jocks be damned, get straight A’s or get out! Stohn and I didn’t have much in common, but back then there were only about 400 students in total, attending grades 7 ~ 13, so you “knew” everybody … and if I say more, I’ll get myself and Kate in trouble, so I’ll stop now.

  2. Meanwhile media is outraged that CPC uses mainouts to spread message. Ignores obvious Trudeau taxpayer funded use of tv set.

  3. What’s that there squiggly stuff on the blackboard? That almost looks like math. I thought JT was a drama teacher.
I guess that stuff looks pretty dramatic if you can’t understand it.

  4. Seems to be some confusion. Was the Dolphin an actual super duper real life drama teacher or a substitute drama teacher? I keep hearing substitute.
Not sure what the uproar is about with his creds. You don’t need to know no math – when your a drama teacher u just have to ACT it – alright?!. Sir John Gielgud said words to that effect i think to Dustin Hoffman once – because he was running around the block 50 times or so in order to ‘look’ tired – spastic or what.
Don’t ‘spects the Dolphin is ‘method’ school tho – as u have to have real life experince to draw on…

  5. Davers6: ” … I’ll get myself and Kate in trouble, so I’ll stop now.”
    Yeah, Stohn’s a lawyer.

  6. It’s appropriate that a useless, part time drama teacher, act out his useless, first ad on the set of a useless Canadian TV “dramatic” series.

  7. I wonder if this will go down in the books as a Liberal Party in kind contribution by Elections Canada? Doubt it.
Also by releasing an ad on YouTube and then have the press play it, is it news or a contribution to the party in equivalent dollars of air time. Elections Canada would like to know.
We all know a Conservative YouTube ad would not get any coverage….
They should try to see if the “smarter ones” are as smart as they think.

  8. Maybe jr. had a go at the math on the blackboard? He is after all a failed engineering student who work his way down to education…..

  9. Apparently, the Shiny Pony’s two-year tenure at a chi-chi private school in BC was all about his ability — name, you know — to raise funds and attract rich families’ kids. I noticed the math equations on the board behind Trudeau in the ad; ‘more lies. He was some kind of teacher but definitely not a math teacher.
“Hard-working”? I don’t think so. He’s always been cocooned by a hefty bank account and that name. Apparently, his attendance record in the HOC is abysmal, so how he can brag about all of his hard work is beyond me, except that the Shiny Pony appears to be a stranger to facts. I guess that’s what happens when you live a in fairy-dust fantasy land. Oh, Shiny Pony!

  10. The fact is the response ad is a correct reflection of the skill of jt. It’s all an act.
That being said, I have no argument with his career path, it’s about his political philosophy….or rather an appaling lack of it. Then when he does, his scripted lines of the liberal talking points reveal a complete disconnect from reality.
This guy isn’t fit for prime time. Perhaps he should be auditioning as a co-host for one of those afternoon gossip shows, or maybe he can be a regular on Ed the Sock.
    While I think of it
Ric Mercer should do an on line petition to get his name changed to Justine…..but then Ric would never do that would he.
