  6. The “official investigation” will find whatever is politically expedient to the current industrial-security Junta running the country. The old Problem-reaction-solution is in play. People are scared, so the solution will lead where the powers that be want things to go. I think you should get use to bombs and crisis during this administration and expect those solutions to take the government where it could normally not go without such “crisis”.
    – A drugged up suspect(patsy)will appear who can’t speak for himself, or to any media, and if he does he will be convinced he is the Easter bunny or anything he is told he is, with the load of drugs the feds are pumping into him. he will have alleged ties to, or sympathy for, one of the ideological enemies of the current white house Junta (constitutionalists, patriots, tea party, red state 10th amendment patriots, 2nd amendment advocates, or any liberty movement which has reacted to the martinet socialist statism of the current fed Junta).
    – It will recommend the deployment of armed TSA/DHS personnel on the streets and running routine check stops on city roads and state highways.
    – A big budget will be committed to crony contractors who make security surveillance tech (spy drones, bomb robots, video surveillance etc.)
    – DHS will increase their budget, Boston Bomb squad (and all other major cities) will expand and be rolled into federal control and all the merry little thugs in the domestic security cartel will dance merrily away to bigger budgets and wider powers at a time of sequester.
    Just another day in the empire – trauma based population conditioning with the same predictable dialectic rational from authorities

    Why do I get the impression — memories of Behghazi? — that officials and investigators will be told to keep quiet when/if they find out that Al Qaeda or some other jihadi group is responsible for the bombings in Boston?
    Why do I get the feeling that the officials and investigators will be told to “stand down,” the way the American military was told to stand down at Benghazi? I have no confidence in Zero or his advisers’ letting the full story out, especially if Islam is involved.

    Prime Minister Stephan Harper has stated on the public record that radical Islam is the number one threat to Canada’s national security and yet we have let in a record number of immigrants from Islamic countries that support jihad against the western world. In fact Canada has literally set the most pathetic example of appeasing radical Islam through the politically correct police and the fact that the government had failed to deport known terrorists living on Canadian soil. These known terrorists are considered just as Canadian as you and me despite the fact that they raise money for jihad, fight for the enemy killing coalition soldiers and openly pray for allah to destroy the Kuffar.
    Great Britain has also embraced Islam despite the attacks of 7/7/05 just the same as many other European countries. Political correctness has been the fertilizer that has helped radical Islam grow in Canada, America and Europe. Furthermore, the concept of political correctness intimidates the media, law enforcement and everyday patriotic people such as myself who are branded as racists, xenophobic and Islamaphobic.

Just got off listening to the predictable, albeit true, statements about terror, cowardice, evil, refusing to cowtow to terrorists, and bringing individuals to justice (which implies some sort of punishment or retribution). As our American leaders express outrage, and our populations mull over the unspeakable horror, let us not forget that this has been what Israel has been living with for decades. And decades.     The two bombs were in 6 liter pressure cookers, in rucksacks. Either one person was an obvious spectacle carrying two heavy rucksacks, or there were two people, or the perp dropped one off and returned, probably 30 minutes later, with another.
    I keep on hearing “amateur” but the shrapnel seemed to do its job.

    Yes, this is security theatre. Few enough of the Provos ever answered for their crimes in any meaningful way. Nobody who deserves to in the slightest will ever pay for this either. It’s been over 24 hours, more than enough time for the blackguards who did this to make it back to the cesspit from whence they came, where we can rest assured they’ll never need to buy their own supper again, or, failing that, to cash in on their seventy virgins now that (as far as they knew) they’d bought their ticket to heaven with crusader blood. If the police were going to catch their man alive, they’d have done it by now.
    Then again, it’s just possible they do have their man, and want to stage manage this to maximize the payoff to Barack Hussein Obama and Governor Deval Patrick, like Obama did with bin Laden. Never mind that by letting this happen Barry and Deval are as responsible for this as if they’d set the bombs off themselves.
    Not that I expect them to care. I don’t doubt they feel any excuse to change the channel from the Margaret Thatcher Show is worth it.

  25. I tend to agree. There were two people probably involved; those two bombs in racksacks would have been awkward to carry by one person. Or it may have been the enemy we are not allowed to name. You know, that one which has been doing this sh!t for 1400 years.

  26. I grew up around London, UK, during an era of IRA bombing. I became, and have remained, quite adept at keeping my bags/luggage with me and spotting unattended bagage.
    Simple safe personal security measures; there’s no need to go around banning and restricting our freedoms.

    As to world wars, ironically the 4th world war, which is underway, is the original one.

    Remember that Islamic states achieved their greatest victory with the fall of Byzantium, 1458 if I remember correctly. From there, it was downhill all the way. The Islamists have a lot of issues to deal with; now they are finding the elbow room.
    When the USSR collapsed, it was not that history ended. Au contraire! When it collapsed, the genie was out of the bottle; all those historical impulses that had been put in abeyance for 70 years suddenly became liberated. The 1400 year struggle for domination of the world by the Islamists reignited.

  34. Phantom: It depends where you are and the circumstances of the times. In the late 80s I stupidly left my briefase unattended at Heathrow when I went to get a coffee; five minutes max. This was a time when the IRA were still active. When I returned I was braced by four officers, two of whom were carrying full auto weapons. Even though I was in the business at the time, my sphincter nearly climbed inside itself. Needless to say I apologized profusely for being a complete idiot. I suspect some Bostonians may experience this kind of thing in the coming weeks.

    In 1990, when the Soviet Union was collapsing, the talk around the coffee shop was that now the money spent on weapons could be used toward more peaceful purposes. My rejoinder was, no way, and that a much larger contest for control of the world was about to begin. So we agree on that as well.
    The problem is that so few leaders recognize that we are in a war.

  38. Ken, this incident is going to make the USSA statists go to war against their own people. I predict that we may see some non-amateur responses to increased statist oppression by people who know what they’re doing.
    What I noticed on 11/9/2001 was the extreme statist orientation of the political class as they made their complete distrust of US citizens known with the most draconian unconstitutional measures that the US has ever seen. These idiotic relics of the Bush presidency were very useful for Obozo who I suspect will use them extensively in the near future.
    So one has a situation where the government doesn’t go after the true terrorists but treats the whole population of the country as if they’re guilty before being proven innocent. When I’m approached by a member of the local gestapo, I don’t let them search my backpack and ask them if I’m under arrest and, if not, I tell them where they can go and continue on my way. Saw some of this statist mindset last time I flew through Atlanta where homeland security goon squads were coming up to lines of people boarding planes and asking for identification and searching their bags. If this had happened to me in Canada my response would be to tell them to F-off and get a warrent. Homeland security is now carrying out illegal searches at highway rest areas and on city buses.
    Soon there will be an “incident” where someone who is thoroughly fed up with this dictatorial policy will strike back and, unlike the islamofascist amateurs, likely know what they’re doing. This might be the spark that sets of the second US civil war. A government that trusted its citizens would be booting every islamofascist out of the country and flushing them out at airports by offering pages of the koran for use as toilet paper on the flight. Unfortunately, the chimp in chief lets the enemies do as they wish and clamps down on patriotic US citizens.

  40. After looking at the videos of the two young suspects, I’d say they are homegrown, wouldn’t you?
    What a lucky photo taken by Mr. Green of Florida which shows the suspect in the white hat walking away
    from the blast. Good clear photo and there is no way he can’t be recognized. With a schoz like that,
    he’s known by a lot of people.
    Okay, now we have a dead policeman and a MIT shooting. Were they MIT students who walked back calmly after
    the bombing?
    We’ll have to wait till the morning news to know more about that.
