I’d say that the only way out of this one for Ms. Wynne is to disavow the whole program in a classic Liberal flip-flop: she’s in the cross-hairs now (it might not be the end, but it’s certainly the beginning of the end). Tim Hudak needs to steal a march now to mark sure she doesn’t slip away:
– reiterate his commitment to repeal the Green Energy Act and to liquidate the contracts;
– cost that out and explain how he’d do it; and
– press for a public inquiry a la Gomery.

The problem with a Wynne flip flop is she agreed with Mcguinty all through the years and still had nothing but praise for him when she took over. I think she’s in way too deep to admit it was all a big mistake.
