  1. and essentially zero coverage when the one true robocaller was revealed to be lieberal
oh shiney pony , reveal thyself to us.

  2. A new phrase has entered the political world,”Harper derangement syndrome”,and Maher and Glen McGregor epitomize said syndrome.
In their massive egotism, they figure we Canadians were all wrong voting in a Conservative majority, and they were right to oppose him.
Akin places them and the equally deranged Michael Harris quite well with the “grassy knoll” mob. I’d add to that list the 9-11 truthers, the Roswell “aliens-have -landed” bunch, and the moon landings-were-faked mob.
While they may see themselves as liberal intellectuals, they are in reality paranoid egomaniacs who can’t accept that they are simply wrong.

  3. McGregor, got to pity the poor fellow.
I mean, going from Frank Magazine to the Ottawa Citizen. Talk about hitting rock bottom.

  4. So Elections Canada want to be ass kicking Nazi’s, keeping shenanigans under control? Democracy is too valuable to trust to these moronic idiots.
Haven’t there been dirty tricks in every election since there have been elections? I guess the problem is Liberals are too stupid to figure it out and know where their polling place is. There are also the only ones known to have made a deceptive robocall.

  5. With all due respect, the “birther” investigation has far more credibility than the robocall wannabe scandal. At least there is no empirical evidence to disprove the allegations about BamBam’s nationality at birth. The robocall flap was confuted eons ago. No real equivelence

  6. I believe one of the reasons that the Robocall “scandal” has failed to catch on is its very premise.
Even if it were true, Canadians simply don’t have a lot of sympathy for the alleged victims. If a person is so stupid as to rely on an unsolicited phone call telling them when and where to vote, why should we be upset if they are left out of deciding who their elected representative will be?
If there is indeed a widespread conspiracy here, then punish the perpetrators.
I just don’t see any evidence of that, and the increasingly bizzare shrieks of the Robocaller Conspiracists seem to confirm this.

  7. I brought this up with an Obama supporter and the immediate response, knee jerk like, was “None of that matters, his mother was American.” Needless to say I was left speechless.
