Regardless of whether there was any jiggery pookery going on, it’s obvious that the decision to allow “supporters” to vote did not anticipate an outcome other than the desired one.
Now the panic.
I will give plausibility to the theory that the backroom got wind of a take over from the outside, possibly NDP or some extreme group such as Occupy or INM.
In an effort to prevent this outcome, it is plausible that an envoy could have been tasked with petitioning some of the other candidates to throw in the towel.
Last I had heard, jt had flown out of town for spring break, and WK is rumored to be in Florida. A coincidence I’m sure, but it seems that over the span of only a few days and the events that have occurred seem too much of a coincidence.
The Liberals. Another race that is ending up as a coronation. They haven’t learned a damn thing.
I had a little problem registering on-line.
My registration code which is 34 characters long had three zeroes which may have been capital O’s or vice versa. Through a few minutes of trial and error ,I did register,but I can see how that would confound JT’s supporters who did not have an adult around to help.
Marc Garneau in his capitulation talk mentioned that the media coverage of the leadership race really helped the Liberal party. Take a bow cbc(and reluctant taxpayers),mission accomplished.

I’m having a hard time keeping their lies straight:
1. Justin says he signed up 165,000.
2. The article says that Justin signed up only 60,000 without email addresses.
3. That must mean that there are 105,000 legit Justin supporters eligible.
Except that…
4. So far, there are only 90,000 eligible in total for all candidates.
So, if Justin had half of the 90,000, that would mean that almost 75 percent of his “supporters” haven’t registered, not the 60 percent that Carroll mentions. Hence the panic…

CBCpravda has this thing on promo since the snowboard instructor gave his dads eulogy. if you could find a guy with less qualification than a community organizer this is it.
Vis a vis polls and their reliability: For the past few elections, the polls said the Liberals and the Conservatives were running neck and neck, the outcome of the elections “too close to call.”
In every case, since 2006, the Conservatives — and Rob Ford — have won and, recently, majorities. Neck and neck. too close to call, didn’t describe the outcome.
I don’t trust polls, especially ones in which the Liberals are looking good. These polls usually reflect wishful thinking on the part of the pollsters, not reality.
As a brand new member of the Liberal Party of Canada, it is my intention to always vote for the best looking candidate.
And you, Shiny Pony, are the the best looking woman in the race.
