To get a full, accurate picture, Times readers have to plow through Rudoren’s article until they finally reach Paragraph No. 11 — in a 13-paragraph article — to discover that the reason Israeli forces used live fire is that they were confronted by Palestinians “who were throwing improvised grenades at worshipers near the tomb.”
It wasn’t all that many years ago that anyone making the slightest criticism of Jews was severely shat upon by the media. Now Jews are being shat upon by a fascist sympathizing media. What happened??

Between the 1939 Nazi/Soviet non-aggression pact and Germany’s 1941 attack on the USSR….american lefties were very supportive of Nazi Germany…then boom……overnight…plus la change….
This same process occurred when the USSR decided to side with the arabs after Suez…..prior to that the Soviets had supplied all sortsa stuff to Isreal and had expedited the postwar exodus from Europe. Then the Soviets switched their support to the arabs, to destabilize the Wests oil supply, and……surprise, surprise….the lefties adopted the term ZIONISM…

Israel’s real problem is it needs to be at least fifty times its current size. The Lord promised Israel a vast country stretching from the Nile to the Tigris, with enough tillable land and oil reserves to keep His people in food and fuel till He returned to judge the living and the dead, and plenty of room for a people He promised would be as numerous as the stars in the sky. Israel has transformed the few crusts thrown her way in 1948 into the most prosperous commonwealth in the Middle East. What she could do with all her riches restored to her simply staggers the imagination.
As it is, squatters and savages have made Greater Israel their abode, making clear nothing but overwhelming force will drive them out. The hour is late for getting on with it.
