If It Saves One Life

Michael Barton;

[A] man in Washington, D.C., came to the rescue of an eleven-year-old child who was being savagely mauled by three pit-bulls. The dogs — illegally unleashed and unsupervised — attacked after they collided with the bike the child was riding. The neighbor began shooting at the dogs to save the child, and was promptly assisted by a nearby D.C. patrol officer who helped the citizen put the dogs down. The child was rushed to surgery to treat wounds to his torso, arms, and legs. For his prompt and decisive action in saving the child’s life, D.C. said they would nominate this heroic neighbor for Citizen of the Year.
Just kidding.

  1. This is why I thank God every time he sends another US “Law Enforcement” officer to rot in hell where they belong. Yes, there are some few honorable ones in the country, such as those few who have spoken out against the treason proposed in DC. But there is NOT ONE “Law Enforcement” officer in the entire state of New York who has openly spoken against that state government’s treason. Their only concern is that the traitors failed to exempt THEM from the new laws.
The stench is overwhelming. And it smells like pig.

  2. How about banning pit-bulls first?
Every week there is a story somewhere of some pit-bull attacking humans. (baby and child)

  3. Hilarious, the biggest gun control advocates clandestinely pack the biggest ‘heat’.
Mayor Bloomberg has a security detail of 5 personnel…I guess he feels safe in his own city.
Of course they like to ‘talk with their Glock’…hypocrisy is thy name.
Typical shyster posturing so they can lead by example by cowering in clandestine shadowed corners.
Gun control advocates should all lead by example and give up their security details…yeah that’s gonna work! Actually it works great if you delight in black farce.

  4. So, if leaving guns in the hands of citizens saves JUST ONE child’s life, does that mean we should stop attempting to control guns?

  5. It is NOT the dog,it is the idiot who owns and trains it.Ban the people who mis-treat and abuse pit bulls,or any animal for that matter.
(well, captcha did work for a bit)

  6. “For his prompt and decisive action in saving the child’s life, D.C. said they would nominate this heroic neighbor for Citizen of the Year.”
That is AFTER they take away his gun – and to see if he is mentally stable enough to get it back.
This is probably a daily event in the States, yet such news worthy stories are not told. I am sure there are more lives saved in this manner than those taken.
I alays want to comment on their sites that Canadian Government [Harper] has done away with the Long Gun Regestary and that it did not save any lives and the law harsh on law abiding Canadians – brought in by the LIEberal Government. Now that part of the law is gone. We still have some problems to work out, but at least the regestary is gone.

  7. Wow; DC looks a lot like Canader. Better the child in this case be killed by the dogs and then the lawyers can have a great argument in court 3 years hence.

The RCMP claimed they have lost a valuable tool in tracing guns used in crimes by the ending of the LGR. They also claim the real cost of the LGR is only about 4 millions bucks a year.
As one commenter mentioned, this is the police force that can’t even solve their own internal problems with sexual harassment, and do their best to destroy any female officers making that charge.
I think the only reason the RCMP want to be able to trace a registered gun to it’s original owner,is to be able to bust some poor bastard who had his guns stolen by thieves who used them in a crime.
The cops have to tread lightly with professional criminals as they know their rights and are provided with a free lawyer, but when the cops get a chance they love to beat up on honest citizens.

  9. Very well said! And it ain’t just the Canuck “Law Enforcement” doing that. South of the Border pigs are every bit as foul.
When there is no Rule of Law…

  10. All this respresents is the LEO’s attitude of “us versus them”.
LEO’s all too often acquire the notion they are our rulers not our guards/servants….and jelously guard and seek to extend a monopoly on the use of force.
How often are citizens charged abused for “contempt of cop”?
When a LEO comes to your door and requests entry….which refused results in a full court assault on your door?
This presents a dilemma….if ya invite him in….you have given permission for a warrentless search…if ya refuse that is grounds for a search warrent.
Kids? Remember that Jesse Samsung fella in Kitchener, who got rumbled cause his toddler drew a picture?

  12. Well down here in Florida, sasquatch, answering a knock on your door with a gun in your hands is grounds for murder by “Law Enforcement”:
    http://www.courthousenews.com/2012/07/18/48483.htm
even though they never even bothered to announce that they were “Law Enforcement”. Do note that a significant number of home invasions now start with criminals yelling “Police! Open up!”
As far as I am concerned, that now works BOTH ways. They show up at my door with guns drawn…

  13. Speaking of Canada issues Springer, I watched Ezra reporting on the expendatures at Chief Spender’s rez:

Now this could be about msm accountability and it would be if that group cared about anything but bashing our Prime Minister. No, this is about another group of zealots – the anti smoking vocal shrieks!! I watched the background video of PMSH and the chiefs and gasped in horror – that room was full of smoke!! The smoke was not a fire in the building; the smoke was billowing from pipes!!! Was this room serviced with a ‘smoke’ detector? If not, why not? Maybe the smoke detectors in the parliament buildings do not work and the public is at risk – not of fire, that could be bad enough…but..at risk of contamination via breathing in ‘poison’ from tobacco fumes!!! Who is to blame here? Where were the police, the parliament guards, the secret smoke police??
Who is to be held accountable for this OUTRAGE? PMSH is allergic to tobacco smoke; – he has asthma.
The building is at risk – how many people are smoking in the corridors; wantonly, secretly smoking…in a public building…in Canada???

  14. Never let a tragedy, real or imagined, go to waste. A dead kid is ALWAYS a boon to the leftist/liberal end of the political spectrum even though they don’t like children (it’s true). That someone went against the narrative and saved a child is a total wrench in the works and must not go unpunished.

  15. The Fountain of hypocrisy will never run dry. The left refreshes it every day in every way. There is now a Law ( Really the absence of any consequences doing anything) for them, with one for us peons, who from our so called betters has no end.
