I’ve been a skeptic for a decade now, and never have I run into PSI before. What I’m reading of their work isn’t very good. For instance, to say that backwarming isn’t mentioned on NASA anymore is hardly a scientific proof.

I see the second article includes the new climate change phrase of the season “global temperatures are still well above the long-term average”. I’ve noticed that this phrase has proliferated since the temperatures have remained unchanged for the last 16 years despite a significant increase in MM-CO2 emissions.
Does anyone know how the long term average is calculated? The period since the 1880s (the end of the little ice age)? The 30 year period centered around the 1970s (when global cooling was all the rage)? Or some other period?
I only ask because young earth warmers tend to forget the “long term” is a subjective measurement. For instance, for humans this is a useful long term temp chart.

Your putting forth scientific illiteracy as support of the non-AGW argument. The theories espoused at the link show a decided lack of understanding of physics.
The problem with AGW theory is not that the fundamental principle is wrong…it’s that there are a million confounding factors that are never accounted for in “the models,” and observations so far have not managed to be matched by any of these theories.

Actually the record wasn’t set in 2010, that was just a claim made in November of that year, before the year was over. When all the data for the year was in, 2010 wasn’t even in contention for the top.
Keeping that in mind, this article is premature. 2012 isn’t over so we won’t know if it actually cooled until all data for that year is in.
It wouldn’t matter if an Angel came from heaven to pronounce that Global warming was insane. The lust for the revenue from to many powerful venues(mostly liberal) would obscure it. To many people stand to make a fortune on this bunco scam. This to the Political class is like finding the leprechauns pot of gold. How to tax till your society bleeds for an out of control Government behemoth.
