Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Funny. I think Steyn managed to get almost every Muppet character of note into the column. I am not so sure that Sesame Street would survive without taxpayer money. I enjoyed watching it as a kid but my monsters had/have no interest in it (except the Elmo show – which I refused to allow because the voice drives me nuts). Like so many other government endeavors, the show has become stale and overrun with fashionable political messages instead being customer-driven and entertaining.
BTW, if Steyn was a Muppet he’d have to be Fozzi Bear, the standup comedian and singer. The is even a bit of a physical resemblance. Does Mark own a Pork Pie hat? Wocka Wocka
