2. I took a look at the link provided in the above link and am a bit confused.
   Does this mean that the employer will deduct 3% off the employee’s paycheque,or does the employer have to contribute 3% of the employees earnings to the program?

4. CALPERS needs a transfusion of cash. Of course the new money will be strictly separated from the public money, sort of like what Corzine did with MF Global.

6. Meh – Canada’s new prpp’s provide for auto-enrollment (with an opt out) and US pension legislation has always permitted this. If you don’t want to participate, spend 5 minutes on your pay stub and opt out.
