Now that Morsi is firing his Chiefs of Staff, expect things to go sideways in Egypt. The left will probably try to blame the Mossad for this and make a veiled inference to Hitler outsmarting Stalin with the Russian Army purge of the Thirties.
BTW, just in case the link I posted just now makes it through, I’d like to point out that this same Ryan Lizza wrote notorious piece (also New Yorker) almost exactly a year ago about Michele Bachmann, accusing her of being a religious nut and a “dominionist”.
Also, look how he’s being destroyed in the comments. Even at the lefty old New Yorker.
Jimmy’s poem brought back memories of some dog friends we have had and who passed on. Jimmy Stewart was a great actor and person.
