Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Only the likes of Mitt Romney can afford to eat in most of these places. Brooklyn Fare, for example, is going to set you back around $400 a head after drinks, taxes, and tips.

Newsweak: Phoning it in since the 20th century.
“Only the likes of Pres. Obama, Sen Kerry & Reid…” fixed it for ‘ya.
They are saving money by recycling photos. Anything to stave off the inevitable bankruptcy for another issue or too.
sorry ralph
I do and asparagus too
Next, recycling entire articles
Well that’s one way to keep costs down, just recycle as required.
Liberals teach proper and safe blowjob techniques in publik skool, the cover is just continuing education…
Philanthropist is right. This is another low for leftist news magazines trying to boost their ratings.
Oh the nerve of someone having the money to eat a 400 dollar meal, Oh the nerve, when some occupier is dumping his dumpster aquired McDonalds fare all over a police car because he is to useless to get a job. Newsweek is done, whatever they do to prolong their 1 dollar agony will be just that.

Yeah…and I suspect Ralph looks better with his clothes on…like most of us….
Politics aside, this is why it’s almost impossible to earn a living as a freelance photographer anymore – stock images are being recycled almost endlessly, and commissioned work has dropped to almost negligible levels (that don’t pay that well even if you do get the gig.) The media has cratered spectacularly during the course of my meagre career working in it.
