In Alberta, we have Bills 50, 36, 24 and 19 setting up the government of Alberta and their handmaidens, the unelected bureaucrats as “GOD” over all “land management” policy, economic and social development – even to Crown ownership of the pore space below your property. The right to compensation, public input or oversight and legal recourse has been virtually eliminated. They even erased any requirement to public “notice” of intent to “freeze” all development over large areas of Alberta, including privately owned property. The verbiage in these pieces of legislation read like the UN’s Agenda 21. Not even a shot fired.
Only Oregon sate has similar legislation, which has generated unintended consequences for land owners and businesses alike.

Abstract
The atmospheric greenhouse effect, an idea that many authors trace back to the
traditional works of Fourier (1824), Tyndall (1861), and Arrhenius (1896), and which
is still supported in global climatology, essentially describes a fictitious mechanism, in
which a planetary atmosphere acts as a heat pump driven by an environment that is radiatively interacting with but radiatively equilibrated to the atmospheric system. According to the second law of thermodynamics such a planetary machine can never exist. Nevertheless, in almost all texts of global climatology and in a widespread secondary literature it is taken for granted that such mechanism is real and stands on a firm sci-
entific foundation. In this paper the popular conjecture is analyzed and the underlying
physical principles are clarified. By showing that (a) there are no common physical laws
between the warming phenomenon in glass houses and the ctitious atmospheric green-
house effects, (b) there are no calculations to determine an average surface temperature
of a planet, (c) the frequently mentioned di erence of 33 C is a meaningless number
calculated wrongly, (d) the formulas of cavity radiation are used inappropriately, (e) the
assumption of a radiative balance is unphysical, (f) thermal conductivity and friction
must not be set to zero, the atmospheric greenhouse conjecture is falsified.

An elderly woman was ordered to find a new GP because the “carbon footprint” of her two-mile round trips to the surgery where she had been treated for 30 years was too large.
Avril Mulcahy, 83, was told to address the “green travelling issues” over her journeys from her home in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, to the West Road Surgery. The surgery wrote to Mrs Mulcahy, telling her to register with a new GP within 28 days.
The letter said: “Our greatest concern is for your health and convenience but also taking into consideration green travelling issues. Re: Carbon footprints and winter weather conditions, we feel it would be advisable for patients to register at surgeries nearer to where they live.
“We would be very grateful if you could make the necessary arrangements to re-register at another practice.”
That’s probably why Argentina is going after the Falkland Islands again. Britain can’t fight a war that leaves a carbon footprint and there is no longer a Thatcher to show them the way.
Well, we can guess what the first item on the agenda of a global parliament would be: to condemn Israel as the aggressor in the Middle East. The second? Probably more of same.
