  5. I like Ezra, i do…but it’s painful to watch Brian and Ezra…and to be honest, the rest of the broadcast. It’s so amateurish and biased I can take it seriously.

    Relax it is for pure entertainment what are they supposed to talk aboUt . They are news broadcasters not sports broadcasters they don’t know a lick about actuall boxing or stats so they go with what they know.
    Tender won by a land slide brazaeu gased and that’s that.

  24. When I was young fellow, I was a first string defensive end on a double champion-ship football team.. End of season I went into boxing, and I was in good shape. My football coach was a fitness monster.Boxing fitness is a whole different world.I almost passed out. I certainly have respect for these people can take blows and plod around with their hands up. Trust me it is hard, hard work..

  27. I’m gonna be politically incorrect here. I’ve worked with Native boxers, and fought against them, for years. Sometimes they’re warriors, but 90% of the time, they quit. It’s always the skinny ones who do well.

  29. Brazeau **completely** gassed out after about one minute. As in, barely able to move. Surprising.
    I feel bad for the guy. He looked completely humiliated.
    On the plus side, we’re going to be hearing about the Trudeau victory for the next, oh, forty or fifty years.
    Get ready for the media party’s paeans to the fighting Trudeau spirit…

  33. Oh well. Life goes on. Personally I would have liked to see Trudeau unconscious in the 1st round, as would many, many others. I also wanted the Yankees to win the World Series, the Riders to win the Grey Cup and the Habs to at least make the playoffs. None of these events took place and I’m none the worse for wear.
    Now if the media would just report this in the same manner they would have reported a Brazeau victory, life will go on. Unfortunately I expect a circus for the next few weeks anyway.

  38. There is a lesson here and lets hope it sinks in.
    The PCs in Alberta are suffering from arrogance.
    For the last few days regardless of what the organizers of the fight intended, that we where exhibiting the symptoms of superiority. No matter the contest, we should never take our competitors for granted, nor should we presume the outcome is pre-ordained.
    That attitude is what gets you where you don’t want to be.
    Consider the lesson learned.
    That aside, even though the young prince won this match, I still think he would be a disaster as PM.

    Horrible strategy on his part. You see the same thing occasionally – well, very occasionally – in professional boxing, when one fighter who thinks he’s about to finish the other guy goes apechip and then, when he can’t finish the guy, can barely stand or hold up his arms – which is a bad spot to be in when you’re in a boxing ring.

  46. EBD- In case you don’t know this, I predicted this very outcome. I’ve been in this sport for 3 decades, and after awhile, you learn to recognize patterns. There are many ways to “quit” in boxing. The easiest is to turtle, and wait for the referee. It only takes 6 unanswered punches for an 8 count.

  47. That was hilarious!! Good for the son of turd… he was ready to go the distance and he won. Brazeau is a chump… he wasn’t prepared to fight for 6 minutes and he got it handed to him… no cardio and ill prepared to go the distance. It gave me a good laugh though. Congrats to Turdo jr he came prepared to fight and knocked Braz senseless. Over 2 hundred thousand dollars raised too. My stomach hurts from laughing!

    It’s funny because that’s the way many of us feel 🙂
    Sun News was able to publicize itself and air plenty of Liberal/ CBC dirty laundry tonight at Justin Trudeau’s expense.
    I couldn’t imagine the many thousands of people getting their first exposure to Sun News and some of their break through “Politically Incorrect” coverage after so many decades of Liberal censorship and CBC leftist propaganda.
    This was a huge win for Conservatism. Thank You Shiny Pony for the use of your last name to promote a better informed Canada.
