  8. I don’t think there is enough data in the article to explain the reason for Galloway’s victory.
    He won against the Labour Muslim candidate.
    AND – the austerity programs have been imposed by the Conservative-Liberal party, not the Labour Party.
    So, Galloway is the sole member for his own party, which he started, the ‘Respect’ Party.
    Is it the South Asian vote? What, who, how? There isn’t enough data.

  12. I suspect a large portion of those who voted for him hold him in complete contempt, but he better serves the purposes of a useful idiot than would have the Labour Muslim candidate.
    If the factions he panders to were to actually get into power Galloway will be one of the first to be beheaded or shot having served his purpose and being of no further use.

  15. When I lived in London (just last year) I remember seeing the words painted below a pedestrian underpass along the way to Victoria Park. The words ran “Beware, George Galloway is the Next Hitler.” Don’t assume the Brits like him any more now.

    Yes, yes, I know the award has some PR problems due to some of the the other cretins that have recieved it – the Nobel suffers a similiar stigma.
    This would be an excellent chance to rectify that!

  18. I have an ..er.. update. I had gotten this from the Ottawa article. But this seems a bit closer to home —

    so I imagine that the Ottawa article is wrong. [the reporter may have been estimating the metro area, he mentions the 2001 census]
    But Baston focuses on the constituency. [and also the 2001 census]
    The other possibility is that the electorate is less muslim [“25.7 per cent under the age of 15” etc] but I doubt that he would miss a distinction like that if it made a large difference.

    That’s all fine and dandy but the boundaries of the consistency changed 2010 it now basically the city Manningham and Toller with some outlying districts. Soooo it’s basically an enclave of Pakistan on English soil and the link is I think though I didn’t go there the LSE that’s tha London School of Economics which has about as much credence as a warziristan madras and that comment is based on the fact my uncle was there in the sixties which sums it all up it was basically an outpost of the communist party or as they love to be called here the Socialist Wankers Party

    Oh that it was so simple, but I’ll go a little bit, the parliamentary borders don’t follow the figures from the 2001 census, and notice the way that the author uses the figures that may well have been correct at the time, they are skewered, giving the percentage of white and pakistani population, well over here for what its worth elections are a counting of numbers and not percentages, and the figures he/she use are from a census, these in no way reflect the voting register they are two entirely and different set of figures. Here you’ll have to trust me the population of the City of Bradford the Manningham and the Toller area are definitely how shall we say “dense” its an now “old” saying in the north, “you can get another family of Paki’s in there”, its a fact of life they don’t live in single occupancy properties. As to voting they and labour encouraged a huge increase in postal voting, all part of a voting fraud that was uncovered in the midlands years ago, but it(postal voting) still stuck, fraud is easy using the system and this is a lesson that radicals will use, and if anyone thinks that Galloway is anything other than criminal then they haven’t bothered to acquaint themselves with his past, and he is the Islamists friend infact he might as well be one as he is way past being a simple apologist.
    So is it a legit election, yes it is, according the rules that we have, does it represent democracy, well not really, in the absence of any transparency about the postal voting, and really the whole idea of any sort of governance by the people long since disappeared down the rabbit hole but thats a whole different subject.
    The reason I diss the LSE is for the same as the reason Labour Party will never accept their a failed bunch of silver spooned socialists, its simply that they will not accept the enviable results of socialism and they will continue to confuse and deflect from anything that might show the truth, and when ever you view anything from them given as fact you really do have to treat it as what it is, an agenda. In the case of the LSE a bunch of socialist workers with funding from Saudi and other gulf states, that doesn’t come free.
    But I’ll re-iterate my case, the result is what it is, its the islamist, the imans vote, will they care? No, because they have no use for democracy, its just another way of exerting their influence and making the point to the main parties about the way things are going, and that they will expect more dimmitude.
