These talking heads are visually attractive first and foremost. I think it’s called the “Q” factor. So she has a high “Q” but a low IQ.
It was great seeing Soledad get whipped by Pollak. She didn’t even attempt to hide her political bias. She was so upset and out of control. I have never seen a reporter so bias and so pe–d off at a guest.
It only shows how smart Pollak is and how narrow minded this person and her other leftist guests are.
My granddaughter, who is 17, told me more than a year ago that when she does high school projects she is not to use Wikipedia as a source and such projects must contain source references.
Soledad who has been at CNN for years still doesn’t know that? Well it certainly showed in that interview.
I am guessing there are a few people currently pulling old interviews with her to see where else she pulled Wikipedia info on the fly.
The best part of that was watching Miss Know-it-All get flustered and outsmarted.

Lefties are trying to make it look like Soledad was correct.
Don’t be too hard on Wikipedia. If I miss the start of a movie, I use wikipedia to find out the plot. See, it’s good for something you just have to know its limitations. It’s not good for debates or school reports but we all knew that.
One point that I haven’t seen anyone else make yet is this: O’Brien initially and definitively tells Pollack that he is absolutely wrong about “Critical Race Theory”. Based on what happens later in the interview, we now know that she didn’t actually have the knowledge of whether he was correct or not. So why did she tell him he was wrong?
I can only think of two possibilities:
1. Long ago she gave up any sense of journalistic objectivity. When a conservative guest comes on her show, she automatically disagrees with them on every point EVEN if she doesn’t definitively know if they are right or wrong.
2. Someone was whispering in her ear from the start, telling her that Pollack was wrong. But who was this person and what were their credentials to instantly “know” that Pollack was wrong? The fact that the whisperer had to consult Wikikpedia for a definition indicates that their level of knowledge on the subject was also questionable.
Dennis Miller has long told his audience that everything about Hollywood is fake. I’m beginning to wonder if that truism should also be extended to much of the MSM?

Oh it is clear she was being fed from her producer, standard practice. That she was so combative and definitive based on this is the unique aspect.
What isnt clear is whether the vehemence came from her alone or in conjunction with her producer. She has undermined a ton of her own credibility and the producer may well fired…likely should be for briefing his/her charge so terribly.
But O Brien, who has accepted awards for being an outstnading Irish American, an outstanding Latino American and for being an outstanding African American, is often like a chipmunk on cocaine.

Stephen, combat interviews like this are almost entirely staged beforehand. Producer and meatpuppet get together and agree on a line of questions designed to humiliate the interviewee. Producer provides facts and info as needed depending on how the interview turns. It’s one reason why you never see these people away from a sound stage. They can’t actually handle an interview where you have to do a lot of research and have considerable background knowledge beforehand.
Krista Erickson, once of the CBC, got caught in a similar situation several years ago, when she was caught feeding questions to Lib MP Pablo Rodriquez at the Mulroney enquiry. Not that it mattered in the long run. Pablo’s electoral future didn’t survive failing a breathalyzer test. And Krista didn’t survive being thrown under the bus by CBC management, who don’t like having their little staging tricks revealed in public.
