  1. I read this and it appears that this would be a case where there is a legitimate “insanity” defense.
She appears to be not just “crazy” so to speak, but actually mentally ill.
    mike

  2. Nasty crazy person that.
    Probably a vegan.
Protein deficiency can make a person crazy like that, effects their brain.
    Odd looking too.
Kinda like her face caught fire as a wee girl and someone put it out with a chain.
Either that or she fell out the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

  3. To post such a pending threat on a public forum like facebook shows she was definately a few fries short of a happy meal. Bet she gets off under temp. insanity and mandatory meds. It is estimated between 1 and 3% of the population is borderline insane. That leaves over 3 million nuts on the loose in the USA, minimum. Most of them are in California and probably in the civil service. I’m surprised she is from Ohio.

  4. Notice that no one hassles bikers for wearing so much leather.
Someone needs to explain to her that biker chicks wear fur bikinis.

  5. All I could think of was Thank God she was busted.
If she hadn’t done this despicable stupidity. Than I bet we would have been reading about her whole family killed . By this obviously disturbed nut.
She won’t be a Vegan long in prison.
Shes just the type to be recruited for the EPA.

  6. A nutter for sure. Easy catch, here’s hoping that she is either caged for life or given the proper meds to make her start touching the bases.
Being killed by an obviously nutty person that seems harmless does not make you any less dead.

  7. Don’t be touching the Dem voter base now.
She just gives the incentive to conceal carry a shot in the arm.

  8. 830 to 850 dollars negotiable. I think for a capital offence I would hold out for at least a grand.

  9. Yipes
I’ve been noticing this for years…
See a human with guts spilled out no worries,
See a dog slaughtered for a 3rd world eatery.
    SCANDAL SCANDAL SCANDAL SCANDAL SCANDAL
this happens every day, PETA doesn’t care about animals or homo sapiens they only care about funding.
    Ask the telemarketers.

  10. Always so peaceful and tolerant, those “animal rights” folks.
Make no mistake: if they had to choose between feeding a starving slug and a human, they’d feed the slug. Which is why I have to respect for a vast majority of them (99.99999%).

  11. By the way, note she wanted to get out of the house she shared with her family because they ate meat/eggs and used animal products.
Bet you $5 one of them would have been a victim had she not gotten caught. If I was her relative, I’d be fighting tooth and nail to keep her behind bars.

  12. This is a sad case of mental illness . Most on the left have mental illness to some degree , but this is way beyond that.
I expect a herd of animal rights activists will jump up and speak out against her .

  13. Jeez. Poor babe. So much repressed anger – not good for a person.
If she had only moved north of the border. She could have got a job as an OSPCA inspector and persecuted everyone to her heart’s content..

  14. Western society has insanely elevated the status of animals, pets, etc. Any type of cruelty is pathological but this western abhorrent fixation on animals is excruciatingly moronic and pathetic. And it’s only getting worse.

  15. Why is this even news? The woman is obviously a very sick puppy in need of detention and treatment. The possibility that her internet search would have turned up a cut-rate hit man silly enough to deal with her is somewhat less than nil. Nothing to see here folks.

  16. From her picture in the story, at first glance I thought her eyelids were sewn open, and this was causing the insanity, which would make an interesting read this morning with my cup of coffee. I was quickly disappointed though after reading a few paragraphs to discover she is just your run of the mill PETA supporter.

  17. Beyond the insanity of publicly posting this, and the lowball opening bid for services rendered, I couldn’t get past this without laughing:
“Meredith Lowell, 27…hoped…to get out of the home she shared with her parents and brothers”.
I guess the concept of, I dunno, working for a living and moving out didn’t occur to her.

  18. Haven’t these idiots figured out that the hitman is invariably a cop? At least she gets her wiish of moving out of the family home. 20 years would be nice but she’ll get an easy ride under nutbar legislation.

  19. I just love the opening lines that Kate (I assume) comes up with. They often provide most amusing food for thought. Such as these wackos who are so against the wearing of fur and leather that they just love to find a celebrity and dump a can of paint on his/her fur coat. Why don’t they target the biker gangs who wear tons of leather and dump a can of paint on Bubba’s fine leathers, now I’d love to read about that.

  20. Now, there’s a freakish coincidence!
Met a fashionable young lady at a bistro in Lotus Land the other day who was wearing a very fashionable fur hat.
“Is that mink?” I asked. It was.
I complimented her on her courage in wearing actual fur in VANCOUVER. As it turns out, she designed and made it and offered to make me one.
I was starting to wonder about the risk of motorcycling (after an accident a couple months back). As you can apparently get murdered by a hit man because of a fur garment, I’m thinking maybe it’s an acceptable risk. How would the hit man actually determine if the fur was real. There are some awfully good fakes out there, what?

  21. Not sure if anyone watched “Criminal Minds” last night…..
They had a show based on the same premise as this, although it was a “take back our city” (conservative) politician that was getting a supporter to go our and commit house invasions and frame illegals and minorities as the perpetrators.
    Same thing.
Except this was Hollywood fiction, and this story is real.
And she’s a left wing loon, and occurs more frequently.
Maybe Law and Order will do a show on this story…..

  22. What mojo said @ 10:54.
MND, go ahead, buy one from the lady and stick it to PETA.
For decades purchases we made were never an issue, but now as in this case regarding fur, we consciously shop for real leather and fur.

  23. Wow. She wanted a child to be shot or stabbed on a playground for wearing fur.
She has the vacant liberal stare, but that does not indicate insanity(or does it?).
I hope they find her competent to face trial.
I also believe this to be a “hate crime.”
This woman needs to be institutionalized for ever.

  24. Why is this even news? The woman is obviously a very sick puppy in need of detention and treatment…Nothing to see here folks.

    Too true.
Not at all unexpected from the Loughner Left.
The only surprising thing is that it doesn’t happen daily.

  25. Meredith Lowell seem to be a rather wacky person, if you look at the picture.
Then again, the instability, bordering on insanity, is somewhat a trademark of the peta sensitive group.

  26. Insane is the new “sanity”. Besides, the lady was only trying to murder someone who in her mind was “imposing his unfettered will on everyone else” because someone would decide to clothe himself in fur (cf. http://www.smalldeadanimals.com/archives/019373.html).
I think it is symptomatic that language inversion — after an entire generation of being exposed to it — has finally gone mainstream and entered the “collective unconscious” (Carl Jung). It has graduated beyond the original hip artistic use of “bad is good” and “good is bad” to the degree that people are literally confusing good and evil, probably the same way an entire Nation such as Germany could eventually be seduced by the twisted language of the Nazis and a madman like Hitler.
Assassinating an individual who chooses to wear fur is literally interpreted as an act of self-defense for the abstract collective, the same way that if someone objects to paying for everyone else’s abortifacients it is inverted to mean that the individual is “imposing their unfettered will on everyone else” (cf. ibid).
I hate to harp on the same subject but it is clear to me that fascist-socialist thinking has possessed the mainstream psyche evidenced by the widespread acceptance of inverted semiotics in both action and in speech.
Fascist thinking is on the march, folks. Remember the death camps in Nazi Germany were innocuously called “work camps” and signs such as “Work Will Set You Free” often graced the entrances. Communism also uses the same twisted semiotics: when the Indigenous people of Nicaragua were forcibly rounded up by the communists they were incarcerated in concentration camps with Orwellian names such as “Tasba Pri” — which means “Free Land” in the Native dialect.
There’s an ancient proverb attributed to King Solomon:
“He who calls good ‘evil’, and evil ‘good’; Evil will never depart his house”.

  27. Seal pup goes into a bar.
Barkeep asks the pup, “what’ll ya have?”
Seal pup says “Canadian club, on ice.”

  28. For God’s sake. Get the kid some real food (preferably meat)and some happy pills. All kidding aside it’s obvious that she needs some serious help. It’s easy to hate her but I really hope they can figure out what’s wrong with her and straighten her out.

  29. Often, professional “rescuers” and PETA fanatics are just social retards who just can’t fit in with fellow human beings.
