An arrogant, angry, fact-deprived, righteous Leftist tries to school conservative talkshow host, Michael Graham, on how we all could give up gasoline tomorrow. He fails. Badly.
Note: At the time of this writing there is no absolute proof that the caller “Bill” and David Suzuki are not one and the same person.

  2. The fool is a perfect example of the screeching, insulting, interrupting, mannerless loser class with no concept of reality. He personifies the growing desperation of the wimpy watermelons who feel the earth collapasing beneath their feet; AGW theory falling apart, cap and trade being rejected, expensive electric cars becoming a daily joke, windmills killing birds, solar panel manufacturers shutting their doors after bleeding millions of taxpyers.
    He isn’t Suzuki but he could be his obnoxious, overbearing first cousin.

  3. So let’s see, Bill thinks that gasoline use is going to have us choking in smog. News flash, Bill, North American urban atmospheric pollution has gone down enormously from 1970 to the present day. There are four reasons roughly equivalent in their effects:
    1. increased use of nuclear power;
    2. emission controls on coal fired generating stations;
    3. catalytic converters on automobiles;
    4. elimination of coal-fired home heating.
    None of these things have anything to do with so-called green energy solutions. Undoubtedly that’s why they worked.

  5. I like that Radio host’s MO,instead of shouting the enviro-idiot down as so many in his position do,he just let him have his say,and confirm how out to lunch he is. Great radio style!
    It’s apparent many environ-mentalists have been inculcated with the idea that the oil-tar sands are so evil,anything is better,although they don’t seem to actually know WHY the sands are so evil.
    My Leaders said they are EVIL,so they ARE!
    I’d have liked to have interviewed “Bill” myself,to ask him what he eats and how he thinks it got to the place he purchased it from. Solar-powered semis?

    In his defense though, he did say the oilsands not the tarsands. He mustn’t have gotten the memo yet.
    BTW, I swear at one point he called the radio host a “stupid Jew”. Anyone else catch that or am I mistaken?

  9. but wait for the activists and ‘occupiers’ to try and shut down construction on these non-oil burning electricity sources…and delay construction for years while driving costs up by at least an order of magnitude with unnecessary court challenges in the process…or outright sabotage.

    Nuclear agency approves first nuclear reactors since 1978
    ATLANTA – The Nuclear Regulatory Commission approved the nation’s first nuclear power plant in a generation on Thursday, clearing the way for Atlanta-based Southern Co. to build two reactors at its Plant Vogtle site near Augusta.
    The commission approved a license on a 4-1 vote over the objections of environmentalists and the NRC’s own chairman, Gregory Jaczko. It’s the first approval since 1978, the year before the Three Mile Island accident in Pennsylvania.
    The company expects to begin operating the new units in 2016 and 2017. They will cost more than $14 billion. It says the project will generate 4,000 to 5,000 construction jobs.

  11. Bill is one of these typically over caffeinated lefties you may encounter any given mid-day, lounging about a Starbucks Wi-Fi hotspot texting out world saving messages on his tablet to a network of other unemployed late twenty something humanities grads.
    Common threads:
    A) Went to university/college, learned nothing
    B) Found the job market/working life too competitive and money grubbing to hold full time gainful employment
    C) Has chosen instead to justify their dependent slothful government/parent subsidized existence by saving the planet from the evil working productive people do to it
    Since the economic slowdown there is literally an army of these unemployable college/university humanities grads who have given up on the job market and live in Mom’s basement or mooch off the government or their waitress girlfriend. They justify their empty existence (read: productive lethargy) by essentially acting as Occupy astro turf in waiting – net working with other astro turf lemmings on their little I-pads, and waiting for a call from the grand wazoo to go camping at the taxpayer’s expense in protest of….uh, well that’s not clear but they ( like reality-starved Bill there), are sure it has something to do with the leftist do-do their Marxist profs spewed back in Commie Martyrs University or Luddite College.
    Watch for a reappearance of the “Bills” as soon as camping weather rolls around. At least they won’t be hogging the lines to phone in radio shows from their summer Occupy digs – that takes a paid up cell phone account.

    I caught that as well. The on air folks probably didn’t catch it at the time or they could have made some hay out of it.

  18. Not that it matters but for the record, Michael Graham is a Christian. He is married to a Jewish woman though so I suppose that makes him “half guilty” in the mind of a Leftard.
    Kathy, I also caught Karl Zahn calling in from NH. Too bad he doesn’t call into Dennis Miller’s show regularly anymore. 🙁

    Not true ehtu? If it is a FACT,then it ain’t a stereotype anymore. (I know.That big word fact isn’t known to you,but one can try).
    Besides,he left out saying that they were calling all whities(except them)racists,xenophobes,capitalist-pigs,etc. Sheez,for a leftie,you sure seem to miss a lot of their memos!
