  6. I thing “South Park” did a story about THOSE types of Prius drivers. The stood around smelling their own farts. It was hysterical. I am impressed that the Prius could haul that much weight though. Very impressive.

I was pleased to read regarding fracking, “I don’t want 535 people in Washington making the decision about how my electricity gets produced. … we as consumers can drive energy policy rather than a tiny handful of people who’re being aggressively lobbied by interest groups on both sides.”
    I remember being shocked to learn that power transmission lines in some African countries all had to be routed through the capital, so the government could control each region.
    Western governments are achieving even greater control with endless regulation and bureaucracy.

    There is nothing more annoying than someone pulling up next to you as you’re standing on a sidewalk or sitting in a park, or where-ever, and the driver just lets their car run, letting their exhaust find its up way up your nostrils. Don’t let your car run with other people around, it’s a complete lack of courtesy. If you park, and here are people nearby, then stop your engine!
    Most people don’t enjoy breathing exhaust. Simple as that. It doesn’t matter what car you drive, whether a pickup or a prius, although the feeling is worse when it’s a pickup because there’s twice as much exhaust.

  18. It is annoying to be next to an idling diesel truck. It is in poor taste to allow your truck to run on for no good reason.
    However, it’s no more her place to harass those folks than it is those folks place to tell that woman that is polluting her big fat body with too much processed food and alleged food.
    You can’t impose good taste, politeness or good eating habits on others. You just can’t.

    Abe you nailed it, and I am constantly amazed by the sheer number of impolite people in the world today, especially when it comes to noise disturbances. Frankly I get sick and tired of having to roll up my car windows at red lights because some loser’s truck or motorbike is so loud that it literally deafens me and my family.
    Money cannot buy class regardless of your political leanings, as the video so clearly illustrates!

  35. I have seen this kind of thing a couple of times. One time a lady swore that a guy who left his diesel running in the sub zero F cold was going to give her sled dogs, in the truck nearby, cancer. I couldn’t make that up.
    The thing is, the liberals have this vote locked down.

  36. I met, what must be the sow’s mother, many years ago.
    I was burning some leaves, as was 100% legal, when a woman with an NDP bumper sticker passed by. She backed up, ran onto my property, and started kicking at the pile of leaves. Next thing ya know, her pants were on fire. So I dumped the pail of water I had nearby, to extinguish her. Realizing what a fool she had made of herself, she jumped back in her car and proceeded to run into a tree, demolishing her Volvo.
    In less than 20 seconds, a liberal lunatic, had self-immolated and destroyed her car.
    Since that incident, I have NEVER allowed a liberal to stand behind me.

    Ummm, ignorance on both sides. I have to agree with the few posters on here who thinks the guy should have shut down his truck.
    Even his egotistical tag line in the video explains why the camera is shaking…because of the diesel engine.
    I had a neighbour who’d start his noisy and stinky Dodge truck and let it idle sometimes I guess for 10 minutes. It would fill my and my elderly neighbour’s house with the stench of diesel.
    I went over and asked if they could do warm up in less time and how it fills our homes with the smell, and yes, they were polite enough, now it’s start; little idle; and he’s off. Everyone is somewhat happier till they started parking in front of my house. I called a tow truck and the ended that episode.
    See Ms. Grey, some can’t move, like a house or elderly couple who have been here for over 25 years.
    As well some don’t want to bend to others inconsideration.
    Ignorance on both parts, and you personify it exactly by saying it is a big world. Move?

Both have enormous footprint, claim their “rights” at the expense of others, and fail to see the nature and consequence of their life choices. The video the recreational truck driver made and posted is supposed to support his view against the woman’s? It does not. It shows the self-righteousness of both sides in bright light. For posterity.

    Who parked where first? AS well it is a bit ironic to see two priuses parked near each other in the whole empty parking lot and this big diesel as well.
    Ignorance on both sides. Motor mouth lady meets egotistical guy.
    However, the wife did have a point, don’t swear in front of my kids. And don’t touch the truck when she leaned against it if you don’t want to be touched.
    I’d call this a loose/loose video.
