  1. Well, imho she’s desperate and doing the only thing she can see that might work.
Ostracizing and banishment are supposed to be effective,so if the little bugger is humiliated enough, maybe he won’t end up being a prison bitch before he graduates to the Big House.
Now, who are the sh**heads that called the cops on her?

  2. “If a mother did this in Canada would she be charged…..?
Not if she was black like this woman.
Black people have special rights and entitlements in western culture, doesn’t everyone know that by now?
Heck even asking the question of whether this black woman has the right, is objectionable to the political left.

  3. Here I thought all young black men walked around with the same sign around their necks, or is that just me projecting?

  4. Now, who are the sh**heads that called the cops on her?
Do you mean the same sh**heads that would demand restitution if her son stole from them and then call her a bad parent for not doing something about his bad behaviour?

  5. In days of yore they locked people in the stocks and/or plunged them in cold water at the end of a long boom.
This is this mother’s way of doing the same thing. It just might work.
Not in Canada you say, pity.

  6. For where I sit she comes across as a very good, caring mom. She is trying to keep her son from going down the wrong road so I say good for her.

  7. I sympathize with the lady. I had a mother plead with me to file charges against her son for breaking into my camper and stealing a fire extinguisher to spray other kids with. She said he was out of control and nobody would do anything. I tried to do as she asked but our trusty RCMP refused to even talk to me.

  8. “If a mother did this in Canada would she be charged with violating the human rights of her son?”
Yes. the culture warriors in family services/courts are always looking for more ways to undermine parental guidence/authority/control of their family.
It makes no difference there is no such “right” for minors to be exempt from corporal punishment for gross breeches of parental discapline, all that matters is that the PC parasites in the bowels of officialdom supply a superficial justification for unwarranted/unconstitutional expansion of state intervention in private/family matters.
Since the inception of state intervention in the family, troubles with child services and family court interventions have been the number one cause of multiple suicide/infanticide/ murder- suicides.
Like everything the statist left touch, there is always dire collateral social damage.

  9. This is a desperate action by a Mother that cares. That society condemn,s her for trying to save her child from its coddling ways. To make an even bigger monster out of him. Says more about how pathetic our culture has become. I,m of the opinion if Judges let kids like this get away with their crimes. If they take them away they must be forced to live with them. Than & only than will you see changes.

  10. And then “Knight 99” removes all doubt that his nic means he is actually a knight of the Klu Klux Klan…

  11. I dunno if the kid will turn out good, bad or indifferent but that gal is what I would term “formidable”.
I suspect the cops who had to attend while supperficially indifferent….managed to get across to the gal, they approved…wink.

“Now, who are the sh**heads that called the cops on her?”
The same sh**heads that are the enablers of the misconduct ab initio…..so-called progressives….

  12. I gotta giver her credit, it’s an original idea and I like it.
Will it work? Probably not. Something so simple can probably not be effective enough to change his behaviour. But I don’t have any better ideas, so kudos to her for trying her best.

  13. Is it just me, or did anyone else detect a sense of pride in that woman’s attitude? Maybe the kid might have turned out better, if his mother had been more focused on his well being, than she was on stuffing her fat face. It doesn’t take much. Maybe an hour or two each day. If the kid really is anti-social, or has a criminal mind, this sign is nothing more than advertising for his drug business.

  14. “If a mother did this in Canada would she be charged with violating the human rights of her son?”
Nope. Child Services would come in,remove the kid, send him to a foster home with no controls(control IS against his right, according to iberia et.al),watch him commit crimes, try to rehab him, then scream for an inquiry(at our expense) to find out what went wrong when he murders someone,or is offed himself(by a right-winger,no doubt)

Jan…are you really that out of touch with reality in the black/somali/muzzie ghettos that you have to ask???
Or was that just a rhetorical question that I mis-read?

  16. Coach: You did read the story before making your charming remark as to the mother’s weight?
“I’ve done therapy with my son. I’ve done positive reinforcement. I’ve done negative reinforcement. I’ve done mommy-and-me days. I’ve even called the police on him,” Lax said. “But everything seems to be taken lightly. Nobody is taking seriously that these are serious offenses.”
She said he has been acting up since a young age and that while none of her responses have worked, she refused to give up. “He’s already lying, stealing, trying to sell drugs. We’ve got three-and-a-half years until I don’t have control anymore,” Lax said. “I’m not going to let the streets have my son.”
Lax also has a 16-year-old son with a 3.9 GPA who plays football, basketball and runs track. She said he has never been in trouble or even to the principal’s office.

  17. “Lax said. “But everything seems to be taken lightly. Nobody is taking seriously that these are serious offences.”
That’s about the size of it, here in BC. I had a foster son who was arrested for 14 charges of breach of probation. He was held over night and the next day plead guilty and was sentenced to time served. He got caught stealing a bolt-cutters and the court treated it like he stole a candy bar. They only took him seriously when he was busted for stealing a bunch of guns, then he was finally sentenced to jail for 9 months.

  18. There was one program down here in The Great Satan (in one state, I forget which) that showed real promise in dealing with kids like this lady’s Bad Seed. It was called “Scared Straight”.
Prison convicts who had seen the light and wanted to encourage salvageable kids to straighten out their lives participated. These “at risk” kids were taken for a full day trip to a state prison and given a tour and an absolutely no-b*llsh*t lecture by these convicts on what prison life is like, how these convicts got there, starting with the same cr*p the “at risks” were doing, and that there is where they were probably going to end up, if they didn’t straighten out. They showed one visit and a lecture by a convict in for a long sentence, and let me tell you, it was scary. As intended.
According to the state officials, follow-up studies showed that it did work with some of the kids. Better some than none, eh?!

  19. when you have an out-of-control kid, life can hell, and “authorities” will fight you all the way
    ben there…..done that

  20. lberia >
No the Democrat Party is the K.K.K, along with all left wing parties that have forced black people into modern ghetto plantations, aborting their young, making them criminals, uneducated and dependant.
The left has made black people their pimps and dealers prone to crime, taking the jail time by selling drugs to feed the lefts insatiable appetite for them.
The left mocks those blacks that try to honestly get ahead by demeaning any accomplishments via Affirmative Action, so that very few in society look on an accomplished black person as having ever earned anything themselves. “Only by handout from their Liberal master could this individual hold this position”
It’s you who are racist, not I who makes fun of the hypocrisy.

  21. Good for her. She cares about her son, and will never give up. She will mostly likely save her son from himself.

  22. Good for her. She cares about her son, and will never give up. She will mostly likely save her son from himself.

  23. When I was in high school, about half a century ago, we were treated to a visit by a reformed bad guy who lectured us on being “good”
As I recall, he had had an epiphany or similar when after several bouts of prison, he got a few strokes of the paddle.
In today’s world, the paddle has gone by the boards as cruel and unusual punishment, but I would bet the price of a couple of beers that there are kids out there who, if touched briefly by a lot of real pain, with the promise of more if they didn’t get with the program, would find that fitting in and being productive was a pretty good option.

  24. My cousin in England was teaching in a prison. One time when we were visiting we went with her as her group of prisoners was doing a play/skit about before and after being in jail. A class of problem kids from London were brought up to watch. They toured the cells and shower room. They hopefully were impressed because my wife and I certainly were. In fact after the kids left with their teacher we stayed and chatted with the cast which include a couple of murderers and rapists. There was just one warder in the room. I was somewhat uncomfortable to say the least.

  25. Married or not, she’s been pushed into doing the unorthodox and politically incorrect – that can only be good!

  26. Now, who are the sh**heads that called the cops on her?

This is what I was wondering too.
