@dmorris, yes I know, most of us are at least a little guilty of same. However, that being said, I would like to see some action on lowering the size of government and on the CBC.

The problem with some conservative blogs attacking Harper is that they don’t quite understand the “No true scotsman” fallacy.
Essentially everyone has a different definition of what is enough. Social conservatives are upset that nothing has been done about abortion or gay marriage,(small l) liberals (aka fiscal) Conservatives are upset that not enough has been done to promote free trade (aka daily quotas) and hawkish-conservatives are upset that not enough has been done to support our military.
Canada is a “big tent” democracy so long as we work in a first past the post system, so we will always have the various camps of conservatism claiming that Harper isn’t acting as a Conservative.

It’s not really hard to get citizenship in the first place, and are we actually going to deport these characters without the human-rights circus that will ensue? Other than that, Go Harper!

This is about stripping these people, who live abroad, of citizenship status because they haven’t spent the requisite time living in Canada but are gaming the Canadian welfare state by holding citizenship.

We need special deputized citizen posses to go out and start looking for these people. Of course armed with conceal carry permits to ensure citizen safety.
Otherwise it’ll never be accomplished; there are simply too many hiding within the system today. Nearly every Canadian citizen knows or has met an illegal, whether they are aware of it or not. We need to have the ability to help clean house, and participate in getting our country back.
