  1. These conservative pundits do it to show how unlike the Leftists they are in clinging to solidarity at any cost, but I won’t be the first to emulate these pundits by criticizing them for attacking Cain.
Rather I will state that Cain deserves the presumption of innocence until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and I do doubt his guilt at this point.

  2. I guess Obomas Billoin dollar reelection fund will destroy any and all who try to get in their way.
The media are all over the Cain story ready to destroy his POTUS run. They still idolise Clinton for his white house antics and Kennedy for his deadly driving ability.

  3. Judged by the Clintonian standard, this man did nothing wrong.
Still a Cain fan, leftard smear campaign be damned.

  4. At this point, I doubt Cain had an affair. Also with the shape of the U.S. / World economy and the lackluster caliber of other candidates from both sides of the political spectrum, I believe I’d be more inclined to overlook an extra-marital affair any way.

  5. Precisely no shoe has dropped, and no accuser has come forward re Herman Cain. So why are the professional scribblers hanging Cain, first? They aspire to the ruling class, rather than hew to principle, and as such they are the handmaidens of the radical left.
Btw, if these ” ladies ” signed a confidentiality agreement re the settlement(s), they are now in breach of that agreement, and the proper course for Cain is a massive suit against Politico, WaPo, and the accusers. As the case would be a precedent setter, the tort bar would close the accusations down in about 12 hours, by yanking the relevant Democrat chains.
If you haven’t read it, Angelo Codevilla explains the pathetic character of professional conservatives in his article ” America’s Ruling Class” It explains how the professional conservatives general uselessness made the Tea Party a necessity.

  6. So a lawsuit was settled because it was cheaper than paying lawyers. Someone felt awkward and uncomfortable – there was not even any Lewinskying.
Many Democrats in recent history get caught with their Johnson in someone elses business and the media ignores it. A Republican makes someone fell awkward and uncomfortable and is pummeled.

  7. A powerful male authority figure hitting on women in a mixed social setting?
    Say it ain’t so.

  8. The Cain thing is the entire US media focused on… nothing. There are no facts in the case, no complainants, not witnesses, no stained blue dress. There’s nothing to see.
So what’s everybody talking about? That.
I’d be happier to hear what Herman Cain’s plan is for when the Israelis bomb the crap out of the Iranians. Or how he plans to get all those jobs back from China. Or even what he’s going to do to those F***s in the ATF for Fast and Furious.

  9. Herman Cain is trying hard not to breach a confidentiality agreement, and in fact may not even know what’s in it. The agreement could have been between the National Restaurant Association and the “ladies”. On top of the that, it’s possible that these ladies never breached the agreement either, because the original hit article was very light on details, and could have been stitched together from 3rd party rumors. According to one of the lawyers, even acknowledging the existence of the agreement may have caused a breach.

  10. Cain is a serious threat to the Left (more of a real African American than Obama) and the Establishment conservatives since he is a successful self-made man and not a professional politician. They both seek to smear him, but there is no evidence of any guilt. They are scrapping the bottom of the barrel and will do anything to prevent him from winning.

  11. Bingo Alain at 6:02. I made a similar observation on another thread. He’s a threat to BOTH ruling classes who are a different as Coke and Pepsi.

  12. “Cain is a serious threat to the Left (more of a real African American than Obama) and the Establishment conservatives since he is a successful self-made man and not a professional politician.”
“Alain @ 6:02 ….. Biingo … and the other side of that coin is Romney…….the establishment man.”
It’s delightful that you guys think that either the Democrats or Romney’s camp are behind this. Ask yourselves: who most stands to gain from a Cain downfall?

  13. Bill Whittle has made the most astute observation about this scam. Herman Cain should reply to any question or comment made to him by simply asking for the evidence to be shown to him. The evidence, not the slimy innuendo. Otherwise, there’s nothing to talk about.
Cain’s biggest weakness right now is a lack of people around him who can help him deal effectively with these attacks. They’re going to get more vicious the longer he stays in the race.
