  20. Oakland, with a population of 390,000, had 95 murders in 2010, which was good news, because there were 110 murders there in 2009. He’s going to go there and arrest members of a police force who deal with that. Right.
    Somebody might want to tell him that handcuffs don’t work the same way when applied to men whose wrists aren’t limp.

Tough. This Scott Olsen, an activist, was injured as my niece was in Seattle in refusing to obey the police orders. He was part of the leftist, liberal mob like the Black Bloc, there not to just protest, which is protected under the law, but to escalate until the police are forced to react.
    The Tea Party in contrast has had over 3 million people at their protests yet not one person was arrested and they left the places cleaner than when they started. The OWS in New York had 1,800 arrested in 2 weeks!
    Now we have the Mohawk Warriors, the thugs of Caledonia, in our Toronto park along with our protesters and will start a “sacred fire”, which is illegal but, hey, they’re natives and all will be forgiven. Wonder what our police will do to clear out this park with our embattled mayor attacked on all sides by the liberal mob?

    Freedom of association does not mean occupation of any public property they want any time they want.
    The doofus in the video thinks the police were breaking the law by violating the freedom of association clause in the Bill of Rights?
    These occupiers should try to occupy a public court room to test that definition of free association and see how long it takes before they get arrested.

    If you consider humanity to be an organism as a whole, then these characters in their illusionistic nonexistence are mere pimples that will get some ointment from the politicians, guaranteed.
    The protesters will retreat to their cubby holes. However there will be those that will gain high positions in public administration with high pay.
    These are the ones that fooled all the rest of the poor suckers to cause the mayhem, while they were just visible. This will stay in their own, “done”, file for future consideration.
    Remember a guy by the name of Jerry Rubin? He has done well in the money making area, while fooling his follower that, that is bad, in their time, down for the struggle.
    Eventually everything will even out, once this is over, everybody will live happy ever after.

    I’m for order and the rule of law, but if the police are present and aren’t preserving order and enforcing the law, they are destroying it and protecting the law breakers.
    The guy above in the video is a law breaker for uttering threats.
    The ‘occupiers’ do not have the right to occupy as a mob any public space any time they choose.
    They were dispersed the day before and then came back to re-occupy.
    That’s not only breaking the law, it’s challenging the enforcers just like the doofus in the video.
    Ask yourself this: What is the potential impact of these groups of Leftist protesters who are currently occupying the core of major western financial hubs, directed by the enemies of our way of life, if another stock market crash as bad or worse than the one that happened in ’08 were to occur today or this Friday?

  45. To play devil’s advocate and not to defend the nut but the constitution, he does have a right to free speech. People also forget that the police are citizens, given the power arrest by the citizenry in a free country. They are not the law onto themselves, any citizen also has the limited right to make arrests.
    I love watching cops beat down the lefty loons especially the violent anarchist ones in black. On the other hand we do have a small problem with some violent police officers who take the law into their own hands occasionally. I’ve seen it firsthand. There are allot of cops out there who should not be cops, It only takes a run in once with one of them to know what this idiot feels like, crazy or not.
    It leaves a lasting impression of distrust of police. Citizens forget that the police never respond to help anyone, they respond to primarily arrest. Helping is a secondary consequence of the primary, I’ve had several policemen honestly tell me this (aside from public propaganda stating otherwise).
    The issue lays with what governments do with their police force, they serve the government first and foremost, not the community as advertized.
