  1. Heh,
This is a classic illustration of the hurray system at work.
You can’t possibly have any oopinion what so ever. The demagog, ideolog is in charge and and anything else will not be tolerated. You can think of this crowd as a flock of sheep, they are unlikely to stray even if they wanted to. The hurray system does not allow for that. The demagogue is full control.
As per observation, this is 1st grade elementary quality. It would be funny if it was not destructive.
This is how the totalitarian diktat works.
Watch and opose, you will see free people succumb to the demagogues of today.

  2. Knight 99, you know, I have thought that on occasion but did not have the gonads to articulate the thought publicly.

  3. Knight and Kulak. Well sure. My friend and I have a discussion in which we ask, why not get in on the ground floor of the Islamic takeover? Afterall, it’s not that onerous for men, especially those past the excitable, “I think I’ll blow myself up stage.” We accept that there is no God but Allah and that Mohammad is his prophet and then carry on. Too bad for the women but hey you’ve got to break a few eggs afterall.

  4. Annie is right. This is the Borg, but with less nanoprobes.
When I taught kindergarten classes, I would do similar things. The children had to repeat things, follow the actions, ect. Children did this. Why these supposed adults are not ashamed baffles me.

  5. Thomas_L / Ken (Kulak) >
Well one thing for sure is that if you did get “in on the ground floor” with Islam and were ok with violence, you could run amok through this crowd and get some sort of medal of honour at the end of the day. Maybe 7.2 virgins (not the full 72) or something like that.
It’s starting to really look like not such a bad alternative.

  6. Well, of course, “getting in on the ground floor” presupposes that we will be running things. Sheik, emir, poohbah? Something along those lines. No need to personally soil our hands with blood of infidels. We’d be “busy” laying back, issuing fatwas and having our wives doing all the work. Praying five times a day but up in front of the farting masses.

  7. We are the Borg. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
Sorry, I could only stomach two minutes of that ridiculous video. I mean, what the hell?

  8. have any of you ever been to a sally ann meeting
(they are god kristians) were they chant and say hellalooya all the time
these lefties are “religious” folk, just like kristians, just a different god, that’s all!!!

  9. I don’t agree with John Lewis on much politically, but he is an American hero and a distinguished leader of the civil rights movement. Disgusting and shameful that he was shouted down.

  10. GYM – what are you taking for it?
Whatever it is, lower the dosage.
Your liver has already been damaged beyond repair.
And, in case it’s escaped your attention, it’s affecting your brain.

  11. How to become a cult leader (adopted from “The Age of Propaganda”)
    1) Create your own social reality i.e. provide cult’s eye view of the world and- create own language and jargon
(in case of Wall street protesters — social justice, jobs for everybody, money for people and so on )
    2) Create a granfalloon – technique that required the creation of an in-group and out-group -i.e. create of out-group to hate
(in case of protesters — Wall Street bankers)
    3) Create commitment through dissonance reduction i.e. spiral of escalating commitments
(ex. sleeping on the street when protesting)
    4) Establish leader’s credibility and attractiveness
    (Obama the great leader)
    5) Send members out to proselytize to unredeemed
    — demonstrations and using of social media in case of Wall Street protesters
    6) Distract members from thinking “undesirable” thoughts ex. chanting and singing prevent thinking about anything else but the chant and the song.
    — in case of Wall Street protesters the brainless repeating what someone tells them.
    7) Fixate members’ vision on a phantom
    — in case of Wall Street protesters —“good life for everybody”. “destruction of corporations”, etc.

  12. Read “Democracy and the Fall of the West” by Craig Smith and Tom Miers. Interesting that “democrat” was an insult in the ancient world. Everybody, and I mean everybody knew that democracy led to vulgarity and barbarism. This occurred as the mob voted itself more and more idiotic and whimsical nonsense, from summarily executing generals who hadn’t beaten the enemy severely enough, to demanding ever more tribute from shaky ‘allies’, to compensate for their ever increasing luxurious lifestyle.
Basically mob rule at the ballot box. We are well on the way to total collapse, as we slowly forget why there was a qualified franchise, and move to “everybody vote on every little thing” democracy. And by qualified, I don’t mean academically (that was never required in the past), but rather that you had to have demonstrated a stake in society in some way.
Classical criteria for franchise: service in the army, or ownership of property. And I mean a house, farm, or business. If you were a lazy, dumb jackoff like half these twits, F.O.A.D., you don’t get to vote, you don’t get the right to march in the streets. If you’re lucky we won’t just hang you as we march you off to the workfarms.
It will come to that in the future, as states try to stave off descent into anarchy.

  13. Let me see if I have this right:
John Lewis spends his whole life struggling for the right to be heard in a society dominated by whites, makes it all the way up to the US Congress but now has no right to be heard by a demonstration that is quite clearly – dominated by whites.
    Huh.

  14. Many here are simply uninformed.
This is an intentional communication system designed to work around volume bylaws for megaphones. Speakers are told to use short-burst sentences and then everyone repeats, assuring the people in the back can hear the speaker.
What looked dumb, was actually something smart. A cylinder really can look like a circle from right underneath it. But a lot of things change when you get some perspective.
