Yes of course they do. But that still pales in comparison to the nearly 2 BILLION they owe the Canadian taxpayers for the failed Gun Registry.

The money thing is the biggest issue. Jean Chretien really destroyed the Lib’s with electoral reform and no Sharper has kicked the legs out from under them with eliminating the per vote subsidy.
When they are completely cut off in 2015 it’ll be a disaster for them.
Love them or hate them, you better keep them above water (Lizzie too) because if they unite with the Dippers, the current leadership race will be for the PM’s job. In that case, Harper’s only hope would be to position the CPC somewhere (if they’re not already there) near the centre-left (think BC Liberals) and for the same reason. One mitigating factor is the inherent instability of the NDP demographic with their new found Quebec/separatist? wing.
