    It’s not quite real-life “Spy Kids” even though the adventure certainly is there.
    It seems a Polish private investigator, dubbed “Rambo” by fans, has found a solution to the problems created when social services workers in the Nordic countries take custody of children against the wishes of family members: Simply “kidnap” the kids and give them back to the parents.
    It’s happened at least twice in Norway and is a stunning development for families there and in countries like Sweden, where social services workers, as WND has reported, have virtually absolute control over children once they are taken into government custody

    I, like the majority of this blog’s readers, did not agree with his politics, but to lump him in with Saddam and Hitler is beyond the pale.

  40. I’m a type of dentist, and I can tell you that this video, and many more like it, have been circulating on our internet forums for years.
    The most saddening part for us is not that persons in indigent circumstances have to resort to this level of care, but rather that people from here in Canada continually return from visiting (insert third world country here) with outrageous dentistry that they procured there because it was cheap. Quite often they have been irreparably damaged.
    Why is it that people value their health so little that they would gamble with it when they don’t have to? Has socialised medicine destroyed some people’s ability to appreciate quality care?
    Sorry for the tangent/rant, but it is a frustration we dentists live with every day.

    Jack’s farewell letter to his party and to Canadians was, in many ways, inspiring; this line, however, is annoying: “We can restore our good name in the world.”
    Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s already done this. It’s the Liberal$ who turned Canada into a laughing stock in the world, known as “the world’s hotel.”
    I’m sorry to see the MSM deifying Jack. He was no saint. Let’s mourn him but not make him into a god. He was, like all of us, a flawed human being — and a somewhat conflicted political leader. Though he proclaimed that he and Olivia were concerned for “hard-working” Canadian families, let’s not forget the over $1-million of joint expenses he and Olivia racked up last year …
    These expenses epitomize the disconnects between Mr. Layton’s champion-of-the-little-guy image and how he actually lived: “Le bon Jack” spent on expenses over one million of taxpayers’ hard-earned dollars last year, which would seem to belie his “man of the people” tag.

    Double Tomato Bruschetta
    Original Recipe Yield 12 servings
    Ingredients
    6 roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, packed in oil
    3 cloves minced garlic
    1/4 cup olive oil
    2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    1/4 cup fresh basil, stems removed
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1 French baguette
    2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    Directions
    Preheat the oven on broiler setting.
    In a large bowl, combine the roma tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, basil, salt, and
    pepper. Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes.
    Cut the baguette into 3/4-inch slices. On a baking sheet, arrange the baguette slices in a single layer. Broil for
    1 to 2 minutes, until slightly brown.
    Divide the tomato mixture evenly over the baguette slices. Top the slices with mozzarella cheese.
    Broil for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

  47. I was too late to make a comment on the “Jack” thread above. Some of the comments must have been quite abusive in order for the comments to be cut off.
    I feel sorry for Jack that he had to die so young of cancer and for his family that will have to go on with out him.
    I also think that Jack’s early death will convulse the NDP Party to some extent as there will be a battle between the radical left and the moderate left for control of the party.
    However I can say nothing good about Jack’s politics, even if somewhat moderate, as both my wife’s and my families suffered too much from the logical extension of the ideology that Jack and the NDP propagate. When push comes to shove, the moderates support the radicals or get done away with.

    His analysis and juxtaposition of the POTUS-child with the realities of today`s western social motifs is a thing of beauty and a true bulls eye…Here`s an excerpt:
