Faster, please: Greenpeace has lost charity status in New Zealand.
The decision means Greenpeace will not be exempt from income tax, a status granted to registered charities.

Props to NZ for telling the truth about Greenpeace.
How do we go about doing the same here in Canada? I’m assuming that they are a registered charity. Ditto SOW and the Suzuki foundation.
Whenever Greenpeace comes visiting at my door in Toronto, I inform them that I don’t support terrorism. Some are outraged and try to argue, others look shocked and just leave. Call a spade a spade, I say.

Great news; now with a majority in Canada, we must push hard against these welfare scums and their fleecing of old people in homes for their non-existant SCAMS. There is no “globall warming”, Mr. Parisite Suzuki. You got fabulously wealthy, like your other accomplices Gore Mann etal on the backs of the gullible first and then on the backs of all of us through stupid polititians stealing taxpayers money to through into your SCAM, money that could have gone into important essentials. You Suzuki are nothing but a 2 bit con man, propped up by a welfare TV station CBC, hopefully the villagers will punish you.
I think all these groups that dabble in political environmentalism should lose charity status then maybe the people who donate to them will reconsider as they will not get as big a tax refund as they did before.
On a side note Geert Wilders will be on Dave Rutherford (AM770) this morning .
Greenpeace shouldn’t just loose their tax exemption, they should also be declared part of the Chinese communist government and banned from operating here.
I wonder what sh!t CSIS has on them.
Time to put Mengal Suzuki on trail for fraud and the Suzuki foundation for embezzelment and tax evasion

Green Peace is not a charity in Canada. They tried for about a decade to get that status but never got it. They set up a GP Charity but it was recognized as ‘doing no good’ so status was denied.

We’re whining, survey says.
“The green revolution is stalling and the thousands of new green-collar jobs that were promised aren’t materialising fast enough.”

“Environment job sector shrinking”
“A new survey released today has found that the UK green employment sector is seeing job losses and opportunities in the green sector are expected to shrink in 2011.
The survey was managed by Environmental Data Services (ENDS) and polled over 2,000 environmental professionals.
The mood among the respondents was distinctly gloomy with three in five expecting public spending cuts to directly affect environmental employment in their organisation.
ENDS editor-in-chief, Nick Rowcliffe, said the survey would serve as a ‘wake-up call for government’.”

We should a spend a day picketing suzukis house in kitsilano, demanding he be arrested for fraud just like he wants “Deniers” to be treated. His house on Point Grey Road has lots of room out front for all of us.
Great news. NZ has a major lefty infestation problem.
Greenpeace
World Wildlife Fund
Suzuki Foundation
Tides Canada
Hollyhock Foundation
etc
etc
All businesses, All should lose their charitable status.
Something a majority federal government should look at.
Personally I think we should strap two Greenpeacers, to every PETA idiot and send them over Niagara Falls.
FREE;
Actually, Suzuki has 4 houses, 3 here in Canada and 1 ineither Australia or NZ. So much for reducing ones carbon footprint.
Meanwhile Hansen is sueing the US government for failing to sanction global warming..using kids as plaintiffs.

Meanwhile, the Eco-Grifters and Climate Scientologists on the UN/IPCC Gravy Train still meet and plan greenie utopian futures . .. that only cost $15 TRILLION dollars.

I guess they have been so busy saving the planet form global warming they haven’t noticed the global economy.

Fred @11:04 nails it.
No charitable organization (including foundations) should be permitted to do anything more than the most benign sort of political lobbying. (“Please spend more money on A.L.S. research.”) Anything that smacks of partisan politics should be enough to have the organization blacklisted, audited, and all or part of its assets seized.
Foreign-based foundations should be flat-out prohibited from from any sort of political lobbying, and foreign money should be banned from going to fund any political candidate, party, or special interest.
The thing I have a lot of difficulty with is the US organisations that swan around Canada criticising us for our alleged “environmental crimes”. We are afflicted in Alberta periodically by that oaf Robert Kennedy and his WaterKeepers. Sadly there are a few hundred delusional Albertans willing to flagellate themselves when he comes to town.
There are many more of these US busybodies: maybe we need a ban on them operating in other countries. Go and bleat at Obama, I say.
This is good news.
Meanwhile, the running dogs of Big Green continue to wail in their granola over the changed political landscape in Canada: “Waahh! I want my subsidies back.”
“The Tory government is not well known for its global level, insightful, inspiring leadership on environmental issues,” Mr. Whiting said.

I wonder what green peace did to pi$$ off the Kiwis, especially when sympathy was on their side after France, in 1985, blew up the Rainbow Warrior.
