  2. Did they not show pictures of young people dancing in the streets outside the white house? I saw many instances of joy portrayed on various media over the blowing off of Osama Bin Laden’s head.
    So why not show the pictures? Will they offend the monsters of Islam any more than the dancing in the streets?

    Those “spontaneous” crowds which suddenly materialised in front of the WH in the hours of darkness complete with american flags….after stores had closed…..hmmmm.
    Why do I suspect they were as much astro-turf as Kim Il Sung’s “spontaneous” Nork demonstrations….???

    he can however withold the images.
    what I think should be done is to allow every congressman and woman who chooses to see said images. then report back to their constituents their opinion on the veracity of said images.
    that however is based on common sense and respect for the citizenry that pays for the whole thing including theirs and the blood of loved ones. so dont expect anything based on *that* to come out of ANY White House.

    Whereas the visible proof from the photos is the most desired proof, what you state would have been an acceptable second choice for some people – up until this morning. It is no longer necessary.
    This morning’s news that Al Qaeda itself is confirming the death of Bin Laden is sufficient for almost all people. The demand for the photos was not a demand for grotesque images, nor was it a demand to satisfy some type of bloodlust; it was simply a demand for proof. That proof must, however, be credible. Another, acceptable, form of proof will also satisfy demands for proof. I think testimony from those closest to him confirming that he is dead is sufficient for most people.
    Details will, undoubtedly, vary. The point of the demand for proof when there is no body is to satisfy the question: is he really dead? That question has now been answered in the affirmative. Photos were needed up until this morning; they are no longer needed. If photos are no longer needed, eye witness testimony saying they have seen said photos is not only not necessary, it is now useless.

  11. When both sides confirm the elimination of Bin Laden I see no reason for questioning the action any further. The sane of the world will accept the fact and those wombats that won’t will never be convinced otherwise, no matter what proof is presented. Osama will always in their minds, hang out with Elvis and JFK in various Walmart parking lots and 7/11 stores.
    I have no use for people that call this an assassination. Bin Laden was not the head of state of any recognized country or society, he was the head of a group of thugs. Calling his elimination an assassination is as asinine as referring to the assassination of John Dillinger.

  13. Why would the stores have to be open for an American to be able to get an American flag at midnight? I’m a Canadian and I have access to my own flag 24 hours a day! It’s in front of my house.

  14. Every SEAL should have had a helmet cam (likely did) and they could get Scorsese to direct a newsreel from the footage to be shown at the beginning of every TV or theater movie, music video, whatever. They could run it as a commercial just before ‘Islam Today’.

    Osama bin Laden was definitely killed on the Friday. But on the following Sunday he returned, a little damp, mind you, but he returned. He showed himself to his disciples.
    There were doubters, of course. There always are. So Osama chose one (Tom, by name) and invited him to stick his fingers in the hole in his head. What further proof do you need?

    -After 2 1/2 years of MSM trying to ridicule and marginalize “birthers” (AKA Constitutionalists with legitimate questions) the contraversy kept growing
    -Approx. 1 month ago: Poll averages:
    -60 to 70% of Republicans have doubts/unanswered questions on Obama’s background/Birthplace
    -40 to 50% of Independents…
    -20 to 30% of Democrats
    =Huge issue for 2012 reelection
    -Jerome Corsi (Veteran investigative reporter who got John Kerry) announces a major book release with much damning info for Mid May.
    -Donald Trump (Well known Liberal/Democrat supporter who recently gave over 20 grand to Rahm Emmanuel for Chicago mayor race) starts barking about releasing Obama BS…Goes on media circuit with odd, seemingly scripted words,skimming the surface of the story, never deviating and/or adding anything new as the Donald should of been studying the many facets including the most debated issues of dual citizenship and of both parents being American citizens (Not necessarely natural born American parents; which Obama senior is clearly neither)…The newer much more serious issue surrounding bogus social security numbers is also left out. The MSM has also a field day with more justification to continue painting the crazy birther narrative using Trump. Trump even issues a short form of his BC first and is ridiculed for it…How Alinski convenient.
    -2 Weeks ago (Apr 20) Drudge headlines Corsi’s new book which is immediately catapulted to number 1 best NYT best seller list…As an advanced order!…10’s of thousands on order…Will be released may 18th.
    -The next day, Apr 21st, Obama WH orders a copy of long form Birth Certificate from Hawaii…Anyway, something other than the short form BC that was released in 2008 in which every single media outlet including FOX stated that was the only document that existed…Bill O’Reiley saw it himself in Hawaii apparently. Also the Hawaiian registrar said that was the only document they had. Others, including the new Governor have also said nothing else to be found in the files…Now this new one pops up.
    -Apr. 27th, mid week news cycle (A full 5 days after BC order from Hawaii…regular post shipment?) a birth certificate scanned copy on paper is given to the associated press. A pdf file is uploaded on the WH website for anyone to look at. The file is in 7 layers and is now the new buzz on the internet that points at a “constructed” form that was certainly not scanned from a single document like it was reported by the associated press.
    -Obama goes on presser, says “Even this will not satisfy some” (AKA same as birthers)…We have better things to take care of…’silliness’…Then he hits the road with Michelle to see Oprah in Chicago and have a good laugh about it…Alinski 101.
    -Friday night press Gala…Obama spends lots of time ridiculing birthers and Donald Trump sitting present in the crowd…The press has a field day too, insulting Trump…More Alinski on display.
    -The internet becomes a buzz with layered BC…9 out of 10 computer graphics knowledgeable individuals including declared Democrat supporters believes it to be bogus. One even has discovered imported “B” letters in typed Barrack name that are totally identical in close up which is an impossibility.
    -This past weekend; the announcement of the decade; the death of Bin Laden by orders of Obama WH…The announcement interupts Trumop TV show (To really forment how Barrack & Donald really hate themselves and are not “Working” together)…The MSM is immediately flooded with stories…Kids, in the middle of the night, dancing with US flags in front of WH and around ground zero…almost surreal isn’t it? Then the strange sea burial and no pictures to be seen but plenty of detailed stories about the operation, the young wife etc…”Close your eyes and you can imagine the story hard enough while we tell it to you, you will believe; without evidence”
    Now, what is the establishment repeating add nauseum?:
    “No matter what we do and even if we release pictures; many will not believe it and the conspiracies will continue”(Like those crazy birthers)…With their partners MSM making sure to spread and ridicule anyone that does not swallow the narrative.
    The Bin Laden story serves:
    -As a “wag the dog” moment away from the BC/Social security numbers for now
    -As an attempt to rise Obama’s dismal poll numbers
    -To further marginalise/ridicule nutty conspiracy theorists (Which they clumped the Constitutionalists AKA “Birthers” into the mold) who are also probably racist again’st Obama…They know the BC issue will come back…They need to convince the independents and Democrats that it is no more serious that the truthers or the mooners.
    IMO:
    -If they cannot keep stonewalling the Obama background and raise his poll numbers soon; they will throw him under the bus and start grooming their next puppet…A “Republican” for sure: Donald Trump?…After all the Donald “hates what Obama is doing to the country”; he could expose Obama when the puppeteers decide they will loose 2012 if they don’t switch puppets soon.
    YES WE ARE BEING PLAYED…Establishment Politician Democrats? Republicans? They are all the same and are not to be trusted.

  20. Robert L – my thoughts too. Those who would be most likely to share their delight about Osama’s death would not likely have to go out to buy a flag. Having to take it down (from a shelf, or window, or flagpole) is close enough for many of us.

    Congressional and Senate Staffers, lobbyists, pages, etc. They’re an amazing group. Most don’t know the working end of a screwdriver. They have majors in baffoonications and tweet everything including toilet habits.
    How disgusting they are. Where the heck were SEAL teams 1-5?
    Here’s what’s sick. We have a president and top brass staff authorizing a photo op of themselves watching a snuff film.
    Meanwhile photos of the other fatally shot combatants are released to Reuter’s. (One laying on a water pistol) I mean really? WTF? Would someone please buy a vowel!
    Our boys get dragged through the streets of Somalia et al. and I get that live at 5 during dinner.

    The Obama administration is working on sort of a controlled oxidation principle. Obama is just keeping up viability. Soros has already chosen Hillary as his next president. Once they figured Obama would get by un-vetted they tabled her in Texas 2007 (well not really, just saved her for later). This time it will be the first female president.
    Check out Obama’s diminished position and posture in that photo. 1000 words. He’s not even running the water there. Hillary is the focal point. There is the kick off of the 2012 Sorocrat campaign.
