I think that people should settle down a bit, this was started under the Bush administration and completed under the Obama administration, I think both sides should rejoice in the completion of this objective and not attempt to politicize it.
As far a Pakistan they can complain all they want about the US conducting military actions in their country, but this terrorist lived under their noses (next to a military training academy) for years and they didn’t apprehend him.
The other problem I have is when certain leftist MSM organizations refer to this as an assination. This is no more of an assination then the elimination of John Dillinger. We need to start rating news organizations with a plus minus wacko rating system. CBC gets 5 Red stars (or crescents), CTV 4.99 Red Stars and SUN TV gets 1.5 Blue $’s.

First, the video was hilarious. The Japanese (I presume it was Japanese, not Korean) certainly pull no punches on their political satire.
Second, one does have to give some credit to Obama for giving the go-ahead for the operation. He could have turned it off for any number of reasons (uncertainty that Bin Laden was actually in the compound, violation of Pakistani sovereignty etc etc) or just hemmed and hawed and delayed the way Billy Clinton did when he was more interested in photo ops on the golf course than ordering the air strike that might have rendered the current operation completely unnecessary. So, whatever his motivation, Obama did the right thing on this one and for that he deserves a pat on the back.

Must respectfully disagree DrD. Killing Osama was a -dumb- thing to do, if it was at all avoidable. He wasn’t a head of state, he was a foreign civilian waging his own private war against the USA. The smart thing would be to snatch him, dump him in Guantanamo and wring him dry of information. For -years-.
You can’t tell me they whole intelligence arm wasn’t begging for this guy alive, in their jail. Given the SEAL attack I have to assume killing him was most likely a screw up, and I suspect Pakistani authorities may have had a hand in it.
