The First American Prime Minister, With White Supremacists

David Akin;

Liberal candidate called aboriginals “Featherheads”, says they’re lazy. Over to you , Mr. Ignatieff.

Robert Fife chokes“Ignatieff orders immediate inquiry into Lib candidate Andre Forbes who once headed Assoc of Whites.”
Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!

“I think we’re in a very bad place when you’ve got a prime minister who does a background check on his audience, at a democratic crowd, and doesn’t seem to do a background check on the people he hires in the Prime Minister’s Office, like Mr. Carson.”

Who’s the knuckledragger now, Bob?

  1. Wow, this is going to be the top story on The National tonight for, like, twenty minutes straight! I can’t wait to watch!

  2. No wonder the Conservatives didn’t let those two young Liberal-loving ladies come to the rally in London. Who wants to associate with White Supremacists?

  3. “I think we’re in a very bad place when you’ve got a prime minister who does a background check on his audience, at a democratic crowd, and doesn’t seem to do a background check on the people he hires in the Prime Minister’s Office, like Mr. Carson.”
Michael Ignatieff, quoted in the Vancouver Sun
    Chuckle.

  4. It’s ironic that while the Count is attacking Harper over Carson, he has little to say about Pablo Rodriques a Lieberal candidate who is still facing criminal charges regarding his “alleged” impaired driving.

  5. Nothing that an Iggy photo-op with Phil Fontaine won’t cure…
Speaking of photos…any pics of Iggy laughin’ and scratchin’ with his favourite bigot?

  6. How will CBC spin this. I predict a headline something like:
“Ignatieff Fosters Diverse Viewpoints in Liberal caucus”

  7. I recall when another white supremacist(maybe zondal(sp.), had his a$$ thrown in jail here and in Germany) made a bid for a liberal riding in Toronto. Bob Fife and Lloyd Robertson will be on this in 3,2,1, 0 seconds…oh, never mind.

  8. The sad part is Forbes is being vilified when what he says in his quotes is actually true.
But that has never been the premise to start from in our all inclusive multicultural politically correct Canada.

  9. All liberals are racist by default. Their policies alone prove the fact.
For example – Liberals say that you can’t condemn the whole Muslim community by the actions of a few radical Islamists. Yet they claim that all white people are guilty of racism for the actions of a few slave owners 150 years ago.
Double standards and hypocrisy usually wrapped in a racist theme is the Liberal motto!

  10. Sun TV cannot arrive soon enough – which story is going to get more coverage in the MSM – a supposed “facebook spat” or the Lib bigot from N Quebec?
Sounds more like a high school detention room than a G8 national election!
My kingdom for an election tone that actually contains substance…

  11. Les Suprematistes Blanc/che? Within da Bloc?
    Merde! Ughly.
Da leftist Separatist Coalition cannot hide its racism.

“A Bloc Québécois MP running for re-election in northern Quebec apologized Friday for suggesting an opponent can’t win because he’s aboriginal.
Bloc candidate Yvon Lévesque suggested the NDP made a mistake running Roméo Saganash, a longtime friend of his, in the riding of Abitibi–Baie-James–Nunavik–Eeyou.”
““Certain voters will not choose the New Democratic Party now that they’re running an aboriginal candidate,” Mr. Lévesque told the news website, Rue Frontenac.
Mr. Lévesque received an early morning phone call from his leader, Gilles Duceppe.”

  12. just checked out the Liberal site; Forbes doesn’t appear on the list of candidates.
You figure he’s just a late entry…..or a very recent deletion?

  13. hmmm, have to say I read Mr. Forbes statements and find myself in agreement with a few of them, a politically incorrect liberal – who knew?
And in case anyone is wondering, I AM a status native, it’s not just a blog name.

  14. Hi Kate:
You might want to get a screen shot of Warren’s post this morning before he modifies it.
Warren must think that this kind of stuff is rather important because he bolded it all.

He’s also always ahead at the start of campaigns, because his supporters tend to by angry old white guys who would come out for him in a hurricane.
Yesterday, he pointed out that his main opponent is splitting in two – with progressive conservatives on one said, and some pretty bad people, like racists, on the other.

  15. CTV.ca has it up now Have a Look at The Picture accompaning the article Not very flattering for Ignatieff, There is also A Comments Section, currently No Comments there, Yet.
    http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20110406/ignatieff-quebec-candidate-110406/20110406?s_name=election2011
Claims of racism sidetrack Ignatieff’s Quebec message
The NDP revealed that Forbes was a founder of group called the Association for the Rights of Whites, and is on record having made derogatory remarks about natives, Muslims and gays.
The issue is stepping all over Ignatieffs’s main message to Quebec voters — that they must vote Liberal to end the divisive rule of Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

  16. As the Liberals would say regarding all the manufactured MSM Conservative mini scandals and outrage ” This is a Gamechanger” or maybe not because Liberal campaigners Taber and Fife have IGGY’s back

  17. It’s funny that both Catkilla and Native Indians were mentioned above. If the Liberals hate anything more than white people it’s the “cat eating” Chinese and Native Canadian Indians.
That is one reason they promote the Islamization of Canada as much as they do, once they have enough foreign vote in parliament, you can say bye bye to any historical native treaties, and entitlements. They owe the Canadian Indian jack, and won’t be shy in proving it.
Vote Lib and cut your own throats.

  18. Big deal! Ignatieff can’t lose on this one. The Liberals placed a distant third in that riding in 2008 and have no chance of winning this time around. So Ignatieff, who has no other option, does what he has to do and turfs the candidate amid great fanfare and hoopla. Predictably the media will proclaim him as being principled and a man of great integrity for making this “difficult” decision. After a couple of days, they will scurry off to dig up more inconsequential dirt on PMSH and the public will not remember the racist Liberal … they will only remember how Ignatieff took the high road. What a load of crap!
I can’t see this hurting the Liberals one iota

  19. Liberal Comte Ignatieff is a “mangeur d’hot dog”.
    H/T PET Cemetery.
    …-
    Serge Landry, Gatineau”.

  20. I have a great idea Let’s try, “freedom of speech”!
Under this strange practice, remarks and comments which someone deems offensive, objectionable, m
orally wrong, etc., will be noted as offensive, etc., and then left – to the good mercy of God, or to refutors, or whatever.
    But left alone.

  21. The Black Rod has an interesting note today on the “innocent souls” cast out by the heartless Tory organizers at recent Harper rallies. The MSM are crying over this – until I suppose the mask is taken off these perps.

  22. I look forward to Count Iggy having an open political rally in Calgary because, as I seem to recall, the only Liberal events in Calgary under Chretien and Martin were only ever ‘invite only’, paid-entrance fundraisers or party members only.
Weren’t some ‘ordinary people’ tossed or stopped from entering one of those (a Chretien one?) too? I seem to recall someone being roughed up at the glass-door front entrance to a meeting or convention site from ‘back then’.

  23. For some reason the CBC doesn’t want to have comments on this story. I submitted two one dealing with enablers and trust being low in the Liberal Party. The other just said speechless when they didn’t publish the first. They published two lame o comments and shut the thread down.
CBC we only win when we control the outcome…and then it is in doubt.. unless it fails right away.

  24. “CTV’s Ottawa Bureau Chief Robert Fife said parties often struggle to vet all of their candidates thoroughly after a snap election is called.
‘They’re running 308 candidates, the election has come quickly and I know the Liberals are trying to fill a lot of nominations and maybe nobody did a proper background check into this,’ Fife told CTV News Channel by telephone from Compton, Que.”
The ‘snap’ election came ‘quickly’ because of the crass machinations of the opposition. Period.
‘Fair-minded’ is not in the Robert Fife lexicon.

  25. thanks andy, after reading that black rod Iam wondering if there have been some serious threats made to the PM & this is why a there is such a tight knit. I have actualy been wondering this for sometime, because usually something along that line is kept under wraps for security reasons by the RCMP no matter who the party leader is.

  26. I posted a comment on the CTV blog about this story and doubt it will be printed. The jist of the post that we need to get down to the issues and quit hiding behind fluff to prevent having to discuss the real issues, where their friends position as stated in the Red Book is a rehash if Ideas that Canadians have rejected already. I also stated that I couldn’t wait for Sun TV because I sickof the garbage from CBC. CTV, Global, The Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star.
I guess we will see if CTV supports free speach for all.
Kate is to commended for providing a forum for the dis-enfranchised

  27. I asked the ombudsman at the ceeb when they are going to change the name to Canadian Liberal Broadcasting Corp. I also asked what all those layers of upper management actually DO.

  30. Craig Oliver just said that Harper has contempt for journalism.
He and Sandy Rinaldo can’t figure out why the Conservative poll numbers are still so good! Smith weighed in also. They’re using Ignatieff’s response to the Liberal candidate as a comparison to Harper’s supposedly lukewarm response to the university student kicked out of a Conservative rally, even though….
“LONDON, Ont. – A spokesperson for Prime Minister Stephen Harper offered an *apology* Monday to a local teen who claims she was turfed from a Tory rally here over her Facebook picture with Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff.”
    http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/CanadaVotes/News/2011/04/04/17873681.html?cid=rssnewspolitics
Do the CTV news people who so fervently campaign for Ignatieff not read other news sites?

  31. Let us clear that up for you, Craig.
Harper has no respect for contemptible journalists … as opposed to honest journalists.

  32. Do Iggy’s words come back to haunt him?
Does the following sound very eerily Ignatieff like to the media and Canadians? But maybe with a little less arrogance now.
“I think we’re in a very bad place when you’ve got someone who wants to be Prime Minister and leader of a coalition who does a background check on the candidates he endorsed and signed nomination papers for, like Andre Forbes, who is reported in various newspapers and magazine articles calling aboriginal Canadians “featherheads”
This is not a comment out of the blue by Andre Forbes, since he has a history and a organization for several years now that has made aboriginals his focus of attack.
Andre Forbes is a part of the famed Ignatieff team that Ignatieff boasts about, so what does that say about Ignatieff’s promise of last Sunday that the Liberal team would see that a Liberal government, would bring running water to all northern reserves that now lack it. Is the Ignatieff team and promises falling apart already and only a week into the election?

  33. set you free, I just listened to that CTV news clip again. The young female university student who was reportedly kicked out of a Conservative rally says she wants a personal apology from Harper; getting an apology via Harper’s spokesman isn’t enough for her. So, Sandy Rinaldo adds, after she, Oliver and Smith have tried to make a huge deal out of this, “It’s not going away.” Not if they can help it, that is:)

  34. Who knew the big Liberal tent was a white tent with two slots for everyone inside to look out?

  35. Re Oliver’s comments PM has contempt for journalist.
No, what iam sure the PM has as most Canadians have is contempt for journalist that dont report the facts of a news story But rather how they the journalist interpet how the new story should be. Which is why you are seeing more & more Canadians disbuting what the journalist say in Blogs such as here.
I have been saying for yrs that most people only read the Headline of an article. Need proof just read the comments sections on articles.

  36. bryanr, I agree with your take on this. GOOD journalists are respected because they report FACTS and do careful research. Media hacks spit up partisan opinions and propaganda. They’re spin doctors. Headlines often seem to be written by novices who haven’t read the articles for content.
Craig Oliver today remarked on Harper’s “insensitivity” and then took a slap at the Conservative base….saying that Harper’s supporters “love that.”

  37. Count Ignatieff as Prime Minister.
Count Konrad to the Supreme Court.
    Prince Hermann as Governor General.
    The stars align.
    Get over it.

  38. Chutzpahticular @ 1:38 pm. – – “”CTV’s Ottawa Bureau Chief Robert Fife said parties often struggle to vet all of their candidates thoroughly after a snap election is called.”

However, from the cbc article,”Forbes was nominated as the federal Liberal candidate in August, 2009.” Hmmm,Fife seems to have made a very quick, but also very inaccurate apology for the Liberals. Way to go Bob,your integrity remains unchanged.
