So riveting that Saskatchewan’s go-to source for political talk radio is currently engaged in a spelling bee.

I can hardly stand the excitement. I keep waiting for the press to reveal Ignatieff’s Cap and Trade extremism, but they’d rather pump up his Fanny Pack.
“I keep waiting for the press to reveal Ignatieff’s Cap and Trade extremism…”
Me too!

Look in the comments haha!
CBC thread upset about gun control. I made the point if the Liberals can use a platform they were defeated on twice we get to bring up something that was close in the House..
“I did not know about these revelations that we’re finding out today. I don’t know why I did not know. Had I known these things, I would not have … hired him.”
Does he stll read Dr. Seuss to his kids?
And some people call him controlling.
Anyway here’s a site for polls —
He seems to be keeping up at the riding level — at least mine has changed since Friday.
Good message, Glenn!
I just checked out Craig Oliver’s web-page on CTV; he says that Ignatieff’s plan is pure principle.
Where’s the part about Ignatieff’s plan for Cap and Trade, Craig? How will the Liberal plan affect the Western provinces and overall costs for Canadians, should it be enacted and ALL industries have to knuckle under to the extreme green globalists?
I voted for an Independent in the last provincial election, because of Gordon Campbell’s global green agenda stupidity. The carbon tax!
Forgot the link —
Well Kate, it was either that or a date with Lainie doing the latest celebrity gossip/ or Movie Neil and his critique of the latest releases.
The sex therapists, Bill and Carolyn Chernenkoff must have been busy this week, and unavailable. Sheesh!
OK, so who promised a hooker for everyone?
Pimping for votes, must be a new concept…
Tru”dopia” is making a revival under the big red tent. I didn’t know that the tent also included a ‘red light’ hanging at every entrance.

That seventies platform
So the Liberals are turning over some
serious “Coyne”…. 🙂
But for the LIEberals there is no Messiah.
John 4:48 Jesus therefore said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.”
Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.
–Matthew 21:32
A garden variety prostitute would most likely have more honesty than these poor moral lepers.
Liberals don’t need repentance because they have a natural right to govern. After all the rabble
simply don’t COUNT.
Democracy if necessary, but not necessarily a democracy.

Did Ignatieff just shoot himself in the foot?
Cities bristle at Liberal plan to scuttle $1-billion infrastructure fund
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/cities-bristle-at-liberal-plan-to-scrap-1-billion-infrastructure-fund/article1970238/
*Since Liberal PM’s Chretian & Martin downloaded to the Provinces 25billion in Healthcare Alone, And the Provinces in turn Downloaded alot of programs to the cities, the cities have had a struggle with infrastructure monies.
And since the Liberals did not allow the Federal Budget to pass the gas tax monies are not avail.
The National Post:
http://fullcomment.nationalpost.com/2011/04/04/national-post-editorial-board-a-far-cry-from-the-red-book/
“The platform even opens the Liberals up to charges of harbouring a — dare we say it — hidden agenda. Having been burned in the last election by the unpopularity of their radical, pro-environmentalist Green Shift program, the Liberals buried their new major eco-plank — a cap-and-trade system — on p. 46. Yet in revealing his party’s policies on the weekend, Mr. Ignatieff made no mention of cap-and-trade, which would put a high price and firm limit on carbon dioxide emissions, then force companies and consumers to buy credits for their use of electricity, gasoline and other fuels. Tory supporters will no doubt argue, with justification, that this is just Green Shift Lite.”
A point: If you read the various articles wherein Ignatieff has been interviewed about his energy opinions, he comes off as indoctrinated into the green religion as Dion is.
I’m sure the excitement will grow faster than you can say “antidisestablishmentarianism”:

Saskatchewan needs to be very afraid of Iggulas cap and trade, green shaft National Energy Program. If you people had had the success of Alberta in the 80’s when this communist manifesto was forced on Canada by comrades Turdough Lalonde and Strong, you would have seen the same meltdown we had, but back then you were, because of NDPeers, a have not province. I assume you enjoy the have status, have province, you now have, but you need to be wary, send the prarie lieberal porkupine Goodale packing, or you could see for sale signs and massive sell-offs if Iggula ever got to shove an NEP down your throats. It was an ugly time here in Alberta, and must never be repeated.
Seems the CPC are the only party not buying carbon offsets for their travelling needs.

KATE! Did you miss the link in Stan’s comment (above)?
Just… WOW.
VICTORIA — The day before her party heads to court to fight for a spot in the federal leaders’ debate, Green party leader Elizabeth May pledged $450 million in funding for the CBC if her party is elected.
$450,000,000 MORE for the CBC???!!! Good God. She just single-handedly destroyed the Green Party.

She should be promoted to Companion of the Order of Canada for this public service. 🙂
I’ve never believed any national polling that treats both Saskatchewan and Manitoba as one entity. This gives
Winnipeg was too much weight. It didn’t predict accurately
the last voting results in Saskatchewan and won’t this time either.
According to the national polling the Liberals lead the NDP in the prairies. That is certainly not true in Saskatchewan. It’s Tories competing with the NDP, Liberals are a distant third.
Saskatchewan votes somewhat differently than Manitoba. The national polling companies out of Toronto don’t care. Why would they?
Oh, and they won’t care unless we raise it as an issue.
(yes, it’s the same problem for the Maritimes. So if they
care let them raise it.)

Shame on you Stan . . promoting water pollution.
Is Gormless considered a Conservative? He’s about the softest right winger I can think of. He loves big government.
An interesting tidbit. The local conservative wants to debate the NDP candidate without Liberals or Greens.
Gormley is a classic red torrie. I vomit abit in my mouth every time he declares “well I am a libertarian….but I think the gov’t should step in”……..then just add the problem. Oh well could be worst
