I often wonder if anyone has done a study on how long it takes organizations linked to a “cause” to completely forget the reason they existed in the first place,and simply become a shell that provides some good paying jobs for a few people,and little if any help to the initial target of their “love”.
   PETA, Sea Shepherd Society,Greenpeace,HSUS,and so many charities that deliver about 10% of their donations to the actual victim,and the rest to “operating costs”, yet they’re never called to account for what is essentially misuse of the money we give them.
   The only charity I trust to deliver anymore is the Salvation Army or the local food bank,the rest don’t make the grade.

4. Interesting article about how an “animal rights” organization created the very environment to create more “abused animals”. There’s something very wrong with that picture and these organizations need to have their perversions publicized. I now make it a point to donate to no organization unless I’ve studied them closely first.
   So, my financial donations now go to worthy causes like the NRA, legal defense funds for Kate, Ezra Levant, Bruce Montague (and the Australian family that’s been featured on WUWT) and assorted Canadian gun rights organizations. I don’t get tax reciepts for those donations, but OTOH, I can be sure that I’m not supporting statist scum.

   The original purpose is lost in perks & bonuses.
   Than come the socialists, using any group as a front for Statism.
   What becomes an animal shelter swiftly becomes a political statement, with any good done long submerged by the book keepers. Mean while all they stood for becomes the opposite of what they at one time stood for.
   It only takes one ED Stelmack wannabe socialist, to contaminate a whole group.
   Take science with its shibboleth global warming as another example. The sierra club now openly advocates genocide of humans.
   Personally I think there ought to be a law that says any charity or rights group be forced apart after ten years, just to renew real out reach in humane fellowships, not charities that have become political machines.
