  2. 40 years ago Rush went to the same school as Pastor Jones who was obviously not a Pastor then and Rush cannot recall anything that Jones ever did or said. Yet the MSM thinks this story is relevant…yawn.
    But what is relevant, is that for 20 years , ending just a couple of years ago, the POTUS went to Rev Wright’s church and the MSM still hasn’t pinned the POTUS down on why he would listen to that Preacher of hate and how did it shape Obama’s thinking. When Obama says the same as Rush, i.e. that he can’t recall anything … it just doesn’t make sense. You can’t listen to a preacher for 20 years and not recall anything at all.
    Yet the MSM hounds Rush and leaves the POTUS alone.
    It is rather startling how this nobody Jones has really stirred the pot and ignited passions. It is kind of the last straw, like the Berlin Wall falling. At the time the CIA seemed surprised about the Wall falling but in retrospect it was pretty obvious that you can’t wall people in forever and the question should have been: what took so long? Jones is busting up the wall of political correctness around Islamism; will we soon be asking: what took so long for the last straw?

    you haven’t heard much out of me for a while. Probably won’t until after we get the country straightened out again.
    Just wanted to alert one and all that I will be burning either a copy of the Bhagavad-Gita or the Crest-Jewel of Discrimination by Shankara next Wednesday in the vacant lot next to the city dump.
    Will have strawberry soda for the kids and Lone Star for the adults. Please bring your own lawn chair.

    I think you’re missing the subtle differences. You know, like the differences between weather and climate. If it’s unseasonably cold it’s “weather” and if it’s unseasonably warm it’s “climate”.

  9. True enough Indiana H; but the climate/weather obfuscating took how many years to smoke out into the mainstream? Err…at least it was years for us sheltered Torontonians. But in this case, we got the Rush/Jones Pastor equivalence to the Obama/Wright Pastor all smoked out the very same day.

  12. i actually grew up in the same neighbourhood as clifford olson….all the mothers kept each other informed of when clifford was out of jail and back home…he was a thief in the early years of his career so it was time to lock the doors etc etc…

  20. The only people who remember their high school classmates are people who have never done anything else in their lives other than graduate from high school. I graduated in 1973, went to university in another city and have never been back to any high school reunion. High school was a period in my life I want to forget – it was complete and total hell (as it is for most people!). Even looking through my high school yearbook leaves me baffled in trying to remember any of the people I graduated with, let alone know what they are doing today!
