26 Replies to “Russian Spies”

  1. When I heard Russians with Canadian passports in Massachusetts spying on the US I instantly thought of Iggy.

  2. Iggy are you still here?
Or will you be posting from the prison library?

  3. I’m sure Bam Bam had hell to pay with the First Wookie when she found out that Our Fearless Leader and Teacher was eating a fatty burger and fries with a sugary iced tea drink. What kind of example was he setting for our poor, undereducated, overweight children of the ghetto?
    BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

  4. The translation of reset as overcharge at Clinton’s cringe-inducing red-button photo-op turns out to have been not so bad after all.

This administration’s leftist naïveté is without precedent in the U.S.

  5. As an aside, how much did that ‘hamburger’ trip cost the taxpayers? Just so Obama could show what a ‘regular guy’ he is?
He’s gone from “Most Unqualified President Ever” to “Worst President Ever” to eventually “Last President of the former United States”.

  6. ‘He’s gone from “Most Unqualified President Ever” to “Worst President Ever” to eventually “Last President of the former United States”. ‘
To hell with impeachment and trial. I say Amerikkka just takes a page from the BP escrow fund creation/shakedown and induce the WH, en toto, to accept early retirement.
Jimmy Hoffa would be an illustrative heuristic.

  7. Why the need for spies when the DC head Poobah is already working for America’s enemies. Unless they are just checking to see if he has weakened the nation as much as he says.

Thanks for that link. I’d laugh if it wasn’t true.
(BTW, keep it under your hat: she’s a Christian.)
The video of him eating the greasy hamburger with the commies is priceless. Mrs. O says No to fatty foods so her husband (passive-aggressive)eats one in a public place where she can’t storm in and snatch it out of his hands! Great tactic.

  9. My theory is that Putin and comrades can’t believe they have such a fellow commie and push-over in the White House and their life-long entrenched paranoia keeps hounding them into thinking that it must be an American ruse.

  10. If it walks like a duck…
BTW, I picked-up “Commie Candies” from the specialty candy store. They are “Candies for the People” with a picture of K.Marx on the tin.
They still make me giggle when I look at them.

  11. Largs said “So in other words Senator Joe McCarthy was right all along.”
Lately I’ve had to relook at my thoughts on McCarthy. I always thought he was a complete bastard. Now I think that history has proven him right. But I still think he was a complete bastard and maybe if he hadn’t been more people might have listened to him.

  12. Senator McCarthy was right, dead right. He just wasn’t PC nor a good defender of the first amendment of the Constitution. What transpired from his activities was making the Western world not only safe for communists but to ensure them a place beyond criticism or mention, at least in the company of “progressives”. The result has become institutionalized socialist legitimacy. Its all become very acceptable, you just can’t refer to it by its traditional names except in very small “progressive” circles. Whether as a result or not, the West, by definition now consists of countries ranging from over 40% socialized all the way to virtually communist.

  13. gord and John — you pretty much summarize it nicely. gord, like you, I’ve also reassessed my views of McCarthy.
He was still a b*stard. But, he was pretty much a correct one. Sadly, and John points out, his damn-the-torpedoes approach to ferreting out the pinkos probably, ironically, helped to entrench them into western academia and halls of power. He stomped on the 1st Amendment, which is a funny way to try to protect it. I imagine most reasonable folks at the time wanted little to do with McCarthyism.

  14. Were they playing footsie under the table?
Reports are they did share the fries-damn commies!

  15. Also, recently released KGB files identified current VP Joe Biden as something of a KGB asset back in the ’70’s. Whether Biden was used knowingly or not, there’s no excuse for politicians to be claim ignorance of this stuff anymore — not since KGB, Stasi, etc. files have been released and show how widespread the espionage problem actually was. I’m old enough to remember how Left politicians “pooh-poohed” such warnings back in the day. No excuse for that today — hindsight is 20/20 with the actual archives made public.
It would be nice to see a couple of those politicians publicly admit that they were wrong about those “friendly communists” for so many years…

  16. Last year a Russian WARSHIP cruised into Venezuela in violation of the Monroe Doctrine. It was obviously accompanied by attack sumarines. Obama did nothing.
We’ve got Chinese and Russian WARSHIPS parked near Fisherman’s Warf in San Francisco.
    The invasion has already begun.
The Russian sailors were seen assaulting The Container Store. 🙂

  17. Wonder who drew the short straw to stay behind and manage the boiler room over lunchtime.

  18. The next hot apparel?
How about countering the Che Guevara T shirt fad that lefty nutcases wear by selling McCarthy T shirts?
McCarthy’s face on the front with his name under for recongnition (His name is remembered more than his image) and on the back in big bold letter:
“The Hunt is Back on. Traitors beware!”
I would wear one in a flash.
