Boy that Solar Shadow sure plays havoc with my solar panels. If there was just some way of predicting when we enter that shadow….

Like other than the fact some person tweeted this story about the Sun and shadow, is there any proof it actually happened?

This doesn’t make sense,what morons at ABC. The sun always goes out in the evening when it sinks into the Pacific and always comes back on in the morning when it rises out of the Atlantic and dries off. I’ve seen it happen in both places. There isn’t any proof anywhere about the sun ever being slow relighting in the morning.
Wow, the last time anything like this happened was about five years ago, when the Brandon Sun informed its readers just before Christmas that “yesterday was the day of the winter equinox”.

It’s likely just the sun passing between us and the spot in earth’s orbit from a half year ago where the Saskatchewan Legislative parties tried to explain why we weren’t getting the tax cuts promised in 2007… again. I suppose we just didn’t realize how bright the sunshine that was being blown from below and behind us Saskatchewan citizens was … congrats to the NDP/SaskParty MLAs for another first in NEBULAous political lies and broken promises.
