  3. Obama forgot one thing last night … the oil leak has not been capped !
    You would think any responsible leader would focus on how to stop the leak and leave the blame game / witch hunt till later … but no … true Obama style focus on blame and ignore the problem.
    I think more than a few international and despots thugs like Iran were very happy with last night’s entertainment , which will no doubt embolden them.

  9. I don’t think that Obama himself is a legislator but the backroom gang who run him, the radical socialists, ARE legislators. They have a specific statist legislation to put in place and Obama was supposed to be the salesman for this.
    Equally, he may be technically a lawyer but he’s never worked as such. The key thing about Obama is that, with his psychological need to control all contact he has with reality, he ‘delegates’. He distances himself from reality.
    So, as community organizer, he delegated the actual work to others; he remained in the background isolated in his wordy directions to them. Same thing as editor of the HLR; he did not actual work. Same thing as Senator; he did no actual confrontative work; he voted present or gave speeches. But he has carefully, all his life, set himself up as removed from direct contact with reality.
    He sees the presidency as a God-King role, where he is immune from criticism. The Democrat backroom gang who chose him did so because they thought he could ‘charm the people’. But, the American people see the presidential role as ‘one man among equals’ who is elected for a short term as executive. Obama doesn’t see himself as equal to the American people and can’t handle a role where he IS equal and accountable and certainly, not one where his decisions directly affect reality.
    So, he has tried to shut up all criticism – trying to denigrate FOX and individual critics; calling Americans who criticize as ‘unAmerican’ or ignorant or even, racist. His answer to a problem is to isolate himself. He blames Bush, BP, Americans, others. He appoints a czar or gets a commission. He delegates. And then, he goes to play golf.

  11. I’m shocked. Wow. That analysis was pretty much bang on…..from MSNBC for Gawd’s sake. Impressive.
    I must agree with Oz…this video places into stark contrast the fact that these left-wing media types are bald-faced liars most of the time. But, once pushed off the reservation, they suddenly turn from partisans to proper journalists.
    To Brian’s point…yes, America’s enemies are likely in gleeful hysterics right now, watching the Obama man-child flail about in reaction to this crisis. Iran in particular worries me.
    Obama is done. Stick a fork in him. Like cjunk said (so aptly), Bam Bam is beyond losing his base. The very propaganda outlets that placed him into power have now turned hostile.
    I’m going to grab my beer and popcorn, because watching this president continue to fall apart is going to be….interesting.

    Let’s face it. This issue has been as plain as the nose on your face for the last 3 years, that Obama has little leadership experience and the few times he’s been in charge of something he showed no inclination to get things done.
    But NOW the leftists are seeing it.

  13. Admiral Thad Allen (the one who is really in charge of trying to fix the gulf problem while Obama plays golf or basketball) would make a great President in my opinion.
    I’ve seen him interviewed on PBS, ABC (and CNN I believe ) and the guy was impressive in all interviews…( unlike Obama who is a huge disapointment to even his base ! )
    He also has an impressive resume ( Google him, it is worth it ).
    The Republicans should consider Admiral Thad Allen for 2014.
    Maybe with Sarah Palin as vice president ?

  15. It is going to be very interesting to watch when the lights come on in Obama’s own head. He is programmed, has a belief system which is Utopian, at best, but the reality and the gravity of watching this country fall apart under his watch according to “the plan” will shake him like a rottweiler and his tickle-me-elmo.
    His narcissism will take control and not allow his name – even if it is all bravado – to take such a drubbing. The shift will be like an earthquake in his soul, but will it happen in enough time to make a difference to the US and radiate to the rest of the world?

  18. The press, wary of public backlash and full of disappointment for their Chosen One, must be critical because that is the way the winds are blowing.
    Krauthammer does it because he is awesome but everyone else who already knew in the muscle that functions as their hearts that Obama was incapable as a leader is moved into doing it. They were able to ignore Obama’s uselessness for only so long. The masses, who have since ceased to watch or read their Obama-loving dreck, demand criticism.
    Just my thoughts.

  21. In truth I am almost beginning to feel sorry for Oblamebush. He’s hopelessly out of his league there can be no doubt but then he always was out of his league. The fact is that the BRB (back room boys) used Oblamebush to achieve their ends but now seem to be abandoning him and letting him take all the flack as the BRBs continue along their road to creating serfdom in America. Imagine using the largest oil spill the world has ever seen as an excuse to increase taxes on carbon based fuel.

  22. The left have never worried one minute about another terrorist attack on US soil under a democrat administration. War is not what they oppose, either foreign or at home. What they oppose is anybody but them being in charge. When Bill Clinton first heard of the attacks on 9/11 he said he was jealous of Bush because he wished it had happened during his administration. I kid you not! What they want is to deal with any war or any issues and nobody else. They don’t care if it works, is ineffective or costs the country the skin off their backs. What they want is power and to be in control always. They have never been able to govern. They are incapable of it. What they all are are vicious and petty politicians. They consider politics blood sport. Not theirs, yours and anybody who opposes them. Clinton, it can be argued forcefully, caused 9/11 by his incompetence and refusal to call it what it was: An Attack on US soil: Oklahoma ( even executing a white useful idiot) to make sure nobody got it that it was really a terrorist attack. ( all those McVey visited in Indonesia before Oklahoma were involved in the 9/11 attacks) The same with Atlanta, flight 800. So, it isn’t that Clinton wasn’t aware, he just had a different way of dealing with things. And his way got a lot of people killed including those on September 11,2001.
    As for anybody held up these days for candidate for president in 2012, it seems always to be an add on that Sarah Palin might be in there as VP candidate again. I say she was misplaced in 2008. She should have been running for president and I hope they do not make the mistake of overlooking this very competent woman again. When asked by Bill O’Reilly last night, what would SHE do as chief executive: STOP THE LEAK and waive the Jones Act and take all the help you can get.
    That and everything else she has said and has done as Governor of Alaska qualifies her 1000 times more than Obama or any of those CongressCritters on the Hill, McCain included.

    Mark Levin is a national treasure and his book Liberty and Tyranny is truly as it is called: A Conservative Manifesto. Pure and Simple. His book Men in Black is really a must read also, as it is prologue. Anyone hoping to stop Obama from placing on the Supremes idealogues who will ruin jurisprudence for the next 60 years needs to read Men in Black. As a matter of fact, he is to be listened to as well anytime one can. He is as much a treasure as our own Kate right here. Really , what we conservatives do without Kate, Kathy, Mark, Ezra…. we don’t have many and their voices are very important.

  25. I read an article this morning by noted democratic flak paul begala. I think he was nominated to get some kind of positive press out there.It was a long, tiresome comparison with obozo as the basketball player who comes through in the clutch; due to his superb timing he sinks the shot at the exact right time. Nothin’ but net!
    BTW, can you imagine what would happen if a republican were to engage in endless comparisons of obozo to a basketball player?

  26. @Littlebones, when you’ve heard leftists of your acquaintance say the USA “got what was coming to them” on 9/11, and another blame the London bus bombings on “the USA” – you know they’d *welcome* terrorist attacks.
    In the mind of the true leftie terrorist attacks are either deserved or not actually performed by Muslims. You see why I don’t bother arguing any more; harsh mockery is the only appropriate response to these black-is-white Newspeak loons.

  27. What’s funniest about this is these guys could have come up with this precise, identical analysis of -any- Barak Obama speech since he started his run for the nomination. From the looks on their faces, they know it.
    This is all he does. This is all he ever did. He talks.
    Mathews looks positively haggard. The wheels are coming off the Soul Train, the tingle in his leg is turning out to be sciatica, and Chris just now got it that this is as good as its going to get.
    Barry the fabulous one trick pony just did his trick again, but this time the audience did not go wild. Mathews knows that when Barry the pony does this same trick again next time, the audience is going to boo. Time after that, they are going to throw stuff.
    Mathews bet the farm on this guy, and he’s watching the farm wave bye bye. Poor Chrisy.

  29. It is satisfying to see some of the Obama media cheerleaders finally admitting the obvious. However, one wonders when (or even if) it finally did became obvious to them – did they actually notice Obama’s inability to lead on their own, or are they just following another trend because that is all they are capable of? I watched this clip with mixed emotions. Frankly, I had hoped the lefty media would back BO until the very end, and go down in flames with him. Get back on the ship you helped launch, you pontificating vermin!

    Snowbunnie, you said, so well, everything that I was thinking that I will just thank-you for writing my thoughts! ‘Grow the hell up’ – how well said by Mark Levin and the tone of voice painted pictures and spoke volumes. This overgrown teenager loping around, flopping into chairs, pointing fingers at others, lecturing people that gave him money to squander (BP and Goldman Sacks to name two), grinning to get off the hook for a dirty deed – he must know that grinning when exposed for a dirty deed infuriates the duped party who gave him a chance…..Mark Levin is Magnificent!!

  32. Watching the light come on with Obama’s cheerleaders reminds me of experiences I’ve had with expecting uber yuppies and their various “birthing plans”. Whereas some degree of planning is commendable and is to be encouraged, the uber yuppies, often in professions like “motivational speaker” and “environmental health marketing” have lived lives so divorced from reality that they are visibly shattered when the pending baby fails to conform to their carefully scripted expectations with respect to pain, blood loss, timing etc and they are forced to deal with the first pinprick of reality bursting the never never land bubbles in which they’ve lived, sometimes all their lives. They are utterly lost and regress to a virtually child-like state themselves in response. Farming folk on the other hand, who’ve had to deal with the vicissitudes of nature all their lives, deal with uncertainty with robust good sense and a mature attitude.
    It looks as though dawn may, I say, may be breaking for Matthews and the gang. To my recollection, that’s about the time when hangovers after the party tended to be at their most excruciating. It is however a necessary period which must be traversed in order to purge oneself of the appetite for the evil elixir which was the source of the temporary insanity in the first place, and a necessary step toward maturity for some of us. It looks good on him.
