The economy is doing great; better than most countries which saddens the national media- nothing unusual on their part.
The next committee should be a thorough investigation into the $56Billion of E.I. funds which was taken from us to be used by the liberals never to be see again.
Yet the ‘cyberspace’ media think nothing of it; I guess people, you are not worth their time and energy for the return of the billions and of course, $40million is still missing, this too is somewhere where the media don’t want to search. Yet, the only time the ‘cyberspace’ media come alive is when other people are under investigation.
Katy, the bloggers are the only source of media reporting where innocent canadians who were lied too for years by the National Media, can find information which bugs them.

What I find rather shocking about this case is the srrogance of NDP Pat Martin. Outside the hearing he suggested that Jaffer likely accepted cocaine for services rendered. That would be tax evasion,and more. I fully expect a lawsuit over these comments.BTW,CBC is leading with this liberal story again.

Bit OT, but a great segment on Power and Politics on CBC, with Kory Teneycke taking Frank Graves of EKOS apart on his Liberal bias. It was a thing of beauty! And oddly, at the end, Evan Solomon, host of the show, claimed that CBC uses other polling firms and not just EKOS. Hmmmm. First off, going back months now, all through the prorogation issue, I only recall EKOS’ services being used by CBC. And scondly, if Solomon was trying to defend Graves — which he was throughout the segment — why would he try and distance himself from Graves and EKOS?! Anyway, it was a thing of beauty! Hopefully someone will do a write up.
Pat Martin has got to be one of the sleaziest pieces of sh#t on the hill… His self-righteous grand standing is nauseating… Shouldn’t slimey Pat be getting roaring drunk with KH Schrieber, instead of trowing his feces around the HOC.? What a Prick!! I hope he gets his ass sued off.
Is it just me or have the MPs from the political left gone ape shite? I’m appalled that our elected officials can hold parlimentary hearings without adhereing to due process, innocent until proven guilty is tossed out of the window in favour of third party heresay evidence accepted as fact. I’m so sick of those politicians acting like the CHRC tribunals, no wonder they don’t want the roos shut down alas parlimentary hearings have become the self same traversty of injustice.
As for CBC it’s using our taxdollars to fund polls from what is essentially a card carrying member of the Liberal party’s business? It’s wrong it’s also a conflict of interest. How can we get the goods via freedom of information to show CBC is working directly for the Liberal Party?
Why would any ethical media types lower themselves and give Pat Martin ( is he not a disgrace to Manitoba) the time of day when the best he can offer is ask a question, making an unfounded allegation, loaded with innuendo and implying criminal activity when he asks if Jaffer ever received cocaine as payment for services rendered? If anyone needs to be questioned and examined by the ethics commissioner it is Pat Martin and aren’t his actions a disgrace and blemish on all parliamentarians?

Are Pat Martin’s comments in the committee covered under parliamentary priviledge? I believe so, but not the statements he makes in the hall interviews. I think he is careful enough not to repeat his worst accusations there. Didn’t Jaffer, or his partner ask some of the Liberals to repeat their charges outside the House yesterday?
