After the clip of Rahm Emmanuel (*cough cough*) saying “There are extreme voices on the left, there are extreme voices on the right…” the MSNBC host-woman asks rhetorically, under the assumption that it’s a coup de grace, “Who would you have me call out? Who would you say on the left is comparable to Rush and Glenn?”
    Here’s a few examples – albeit, they’re not exactly comparable, because Limbaugh or Beck have never been – could never be – this extreme:
    Left-wing radio host Mike Malloy, referring to Republicans who voted against the Obama stimulus package:
    “These are terrorists. These are domestic terrorists. They want the country to fail, for God’s sake. They want exactly what anyone who attacked this country on September 11, 2001 wanted. The real internal terrorists are the Republicans, I mean, isn’t that clear? Rush Limbaugh is a bigger threat to this country than Osama bin Laden. He’s a bigger threat than anybody that the CIA can invent. He’s a bigger threat than any terrorist that ever leveled its sights against the United States, Limbaugh is, so why isn’t he arrested and sentenced for treason?”
    The next two examples via John Hawkins at Townhall.com
    Liberal talk show host Charles Bouley:
    “F*** God D*mned Joe the God D*mned Motherf*cking plumber! I want Motherf*cking Joe the plumber dead.”
    Liberal Radio host Randi Rhodes:
    “A spoiled child (Bush) is telling us our Social Security isn’t safe anymore, so he is going to fix it for us. Well, here’s your answer, you ungrateful whelp: [audio sound of 4 gunshots being fired.] Just try it, you little b*stard. [audio of gun being cocked].”
    The MSNBC talking head who thinks there’s no “extreme” voices on the left isn’t justplaying dumb; like CBC reporters covering AGW, she clearly gets all her news from the news, and “the news” ain’t reporting one side of the story.

    However the Hosts who seem to be painfully aware that msnbc has no viewers because of the that bull.
    are actually interested in keeping their jobs. And to do that, some modecum of truth needs to be uttered from the left.
    As for Beck and Rush, maybe I’m just mentally slow or something. This torture of the English language is pathetic “Extreme”. Since when did coming from a position of common sense become extreme. Who are these people any way.
    Beck and Rush can be silly and tedious and repetitive but extreme hardly.

    Abe, the preson they refer to is Keith Olbermann(sp?). He is another MSNBC host who is known to be a HUGE prima donna that will stir up shite like nobodies business if any of these people call him out. The word is that he is a very nasty guy to work with.

  14. Well, the segment did not spoil my day at all. I am glad to have seen it. I was entranced by the brunette and her facial expressions. She is quite nice looking but her expressions were like a high school student being coached to act. The eyes and the “incredulous” looks!

    Now at 1:10 seconds with only 4 seconds to go- the segment goes to a man with headphones at a desk. What is his purpose I don’t know, but it seems to me that he is going politely ballistic.

    Ah yes, to the topic, one is reminded of pure Orwell. There are those who put a clothes peg on their noses, to keep out their own smell. (Sorry if that is a bit raw).

    Who of comparable stature on the left made a comparable statement to Limbaugh’s (of a few days ago): “The Clintons are out to destroy Western civilization”?

    Nice try…statements are taken out of context and by the way there is no one on the left that is comparable in stature to either Beck or Limbaugh! Olberman is the lefts closest competitor and still has only 1/3 the nightly viewers.

I’ve listened to several US conservative talkshow hosts these last 5 years, including Rush, Mark Levin (expert on US constitutional issues), and Jason Lewis (his comments on economics are an education unto themselves). These guys are dead set against liberalism, sure, but I’ve never heard any of them wish for the death of another person or threaten same as posted by EBD above.
    And neither have you, mouth/bleet. I’ll bet my bottom dollar you’ve never even listened to Limbaugh: you’re just another carping leftist hating the idea he’s exercising his right to free speech, and when the losers of the left do likewise, nobody listens. And then their vehicle goes belly-up as a result (Air America).
    Olberman and Matthews can’t even be civil to their right-of-center guests, to say nothing of the hatred, veiled threats and quasi-incitement to violence espoused by them and their brothers-in-anger.
    Threats. Character assassination. Unbridled anger. Unchecked hatred. These are the hallmarks of your media pals, mouth. At least man up and admit to it. Else go back to sleep, as your rants on the topic are pretty much baseless, false and irrelevant.
