  1. That this is now contemplated, just shows how hysterical the West has become. Any thing but the real danger to their lives or children. Islamism.

  5. In the “You get what you deserve dept:” surprise, surprise, the Nova Scotia NDP government brought down a budget that raises the HST, cuts simple service jobs and adds a new tax bracket for those rich capitalist pigs. Oh yeah, they also break several election promises. So what else is new?

President Obama is expected to restrict US nuclear weapons use, even in self-defense.”

“You hit it on the nose. There is no longer even the prospect of an American deterrence against attacks, either on allies, or on the homeland. Add to this the certainty of the Three Conjectures coming into play, and we know what the next couple of years is going to bring. Those who once were our friends had better nuke up, big time.
After we are hit, the entire nature of what our country has been and has aspired to will be changed. It will not be a good thing. Right now, I dearly hope that those who are our Oathkeepers are taking detailed notes.
Our one hope of forestalling this involves the elections in November. That hope is a forlorn one. There is no assurance that they will be allowed to take place, and quite a strong indication that it will not. Even if it does happen, there is no assurance that the vote count will be honest, nor that those in oppostion to the regime will be allowed to be seated if they win.
Before, our belief in the likelihood of a WMD strike on one of our cities in the next couple of years was conjecture. Rational conjecture given the nature of our enemies, their capabilities, and our reluctance to counter them effectively even if it costs American lives; but still conjecture. That conjecture has now become a certainty. We have functionally promised immunity to those who strike us.
Two things. Do not neglect to invest in the right kind of “precious metals” and supplies. And do not forget that what is to come is not just the fault of Buraq Hussein Obama; but the blood will be on the hands of literally every one of his supporters, both Democrats and those farther Left [TWANLOC]. At this point there can be no claim of ignorance or innocence in what is to come.

  7. Under the THAT’S RICH category:
Liberals ask ethics watchdog to investigate Guergis mortgage:
    http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100406/national/guergis_mortgage
Liberal MP Marlene Jennings ” … notes that the conflict of interest code for MPs stipulates that no MP or family member shall accept – directly or indirectly – any gift or benefit that might be perceived as an attempt to influence the MP.”
So, Marlene, Iggy, and co., how to account for AdScam and all of the attendant shenanigans?
    http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/under-the-bright-lights-the-mounties-get-their-man/article1522751/ (h/t maz2)
‘No conflict of interest here? Hmmm? ‘No improprieties for the ethics watchdog to call you out on? Where’s the $40,000,000 you stole from Canadians?
The Liberal$ are such scumbags. They scrape up a CPC scandal a week with absolutely no credibility or accountability on their own watch — and count on their toadies in the MSM to report the scandal ad nauseum.

  8. Strange days at the CBC.
They finally got around to posting a story on the Carlton students being attacked with a machete though it’s buried in the Ottawa section.
    http://www.cbc.ca/canada/ottawa/story/2010/04/06/hate-crime.html
But if you go to the story and copy and paste the headline into the ‘search cbc.ca’ window at the top right of the CBC page it brings up some strange results with links to election coverage of 2006.
    I’m sure it’s all just a coincidence.
