AP News – “Chavez praises alleged terrorist Carlos the Jackal” h/t

Kind of like the “alleged” human, Chavez?
I thought he was allegedly dead.
“In his speech, Chavez sought to defend other leaders he said are wrongly labeled “bad guys” internationally, including Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe and Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Chavez called both of them brothers and said he now wonders whether Ugandan dictator Idi Amin was truly as brutal as he was reputed to be.”
Damn! All this time I’ve been wrong! Now, if Hugo would only enlighten us on the REAL truth about Hitler,Stalin,PolPot,Mao,etc, etc.
Sometimes Hugo makes me wish he’d be struck by lightning from one of those disastrous storms that Global Warming was going to cause.
Guess I’ll just have to be patient.
Chavez is either mentally ill or simply makes outrageous comments for the entertainment value.
Either way …. he is best ignored.
“The AP’s decision to qualify the only profession Ilich Ramírez has ever known drains the word “alleged” of any meaning whatsoever, and tends to cast a patina of respectability on Hugo Chávez recent, full-throated defense of his brand of terrorist tactics.” http://www.caracaschronicles.com/2009/11/alleged-news-agency-allegedly-strips.html
“Quico” writing Caracas Chronicles from Montreal, … safely ensconced with his new wife. His co-writer Juan Cristobal from the comments, “The AP assigned 11 fact-checkers to comb over Sarah Palin’s book, they probably didn’t have time to check Carlos the Jackal’s background.”
… Marc, allegedly in Cow Town
Why does MSM insert the word ‘alleged’ even when the perp is caught with the smoking gun in his hand, like Maj. Nidal for example?
Where does that obsession with ‘alleged’ come from? From fear of libel lawsuits? Well, folks, don’t you think that in this society too many can sue for too little merit?
Obviously written by an “alleged” journalist.

I go with the “outrageous comments” to show the lack of faith in the Media Manipulating Mouth Pieces (MMMP) which people no longer believe. This brings everything past and present said by the MMMP into question. Leaders will use any angle they can to their advantage. “Secrets of the CIA” by former CIA agents and newly released documents now show how people and countries have been manipulated to a wanted result or wars.
ie. Global Warming. Enough said.
He wasn’t half as bad as alleged neo-Nazi Adolf Hitler.
Chavez is communist garbage!
Ignore him? Ignore Hugo? Absolutely not. The more he is ignored the more he will believe he is being cheated of the world shining a light on him. He would simply keep doing progressively obnoxious and outrageous things to gain the “attention” he desperately craves.
Sooner or later he will be in sight (as in telescopic sight) to someone he pi$$es off just a tad too much.
Can you say “Mossad”, Hugo?
“Chavez is either mentally ill or simply makes outrageous comments for the entertainment value.”
Oh, just delete “either” and replace “or” with “and”.
Forget Mossad, the CIA and all that conspiracy junk.
When Chavez goes, it will be because his people and his generals have wearied of him.

Yeah I agree. Not that “the boys” and the company don’t have such assets in place—-why risk losing those assets to create a martyr.
Actually Carlos was such an incompetant that the counter-insurgency tribe decided that he was more of hazard to the crazys—-why risk him being replaced by somebody competant? They simply put a bounty on him.
Having Chavez whacked has many downsides beside making him a martyr—his successor in principle simply has to be more competant.
Truly, if Chavez meets an untimely demise it will probably because he pissed of the puppet master. Russia is buddies with Hugo for a reason. A presence in the western hemisphere is the only reason the motherland even acknowledges this tinpot dictator. Screw up and the Russian mafia will show up faster than a James Bond flick.
Russian Mafia = Kapitalist KGB
Hugo has nothing to fear. His mentor, the big O,will soon be making apologies for allowing Italy to snag the Jackel instead of the US,and thereby it is America’s fault he is in jail, not relaxing on the beach in Malibou.
