  1. It’s always “reassuring” to hear that some spoiled Westerner is “roughing it” and returning to the luxurious and free West to brag about her exploits to her arm-chaired friends.
    Pathetic.

  2. Sorta like those “journalists/war correspondents” in Nam, who never left (and filed their stories) the bar(s).
    My bet is most of these self-appointed journalist/experts never get beyond the wire.

  3. The word, feminist, always conjures up the big old blue box of kotex pads that my mom and I aways tried to hide from the sight of my Dad and my snickering brothers. Mom called it feminine protection.
    For this reason (and a few more reasons) I prefer calling the marching, squawking, jack boot feminists “woman’s libbers”. I never cared about them or their issues as I always loved being female. Being of Scottish descent, women in my family were always considered fully human – ‘reaping what we sowed’, as a human, going through life.
