  1. Iggy is in panic mode ’cause he’s getting old.
That sound you hear is his biological and political clock saying “To hell with what Canadians want, I’m not getting any younger so I need an election now!”

  2. It’s also the flag of Monaco. If you flip it upside down, it’s the flag of Poland. See how worldly Iggy is? He picked a flag that can represent three different countries (except Canada).

  3. vidio is a real elcheapo, guess the war chest will dictate achampagne run on the cheap, poor I iggy will loze cuz they’re broke

  4. I wonder how he gets those points on his canines ? I have a grinder that’d fix that , free of charge .

  5. Maybe I am wrong but he sounded like all Canadian Innovation and business was the Liberals Party’s products and services to distribute to communists…
Did anyone elese here that or was it the voices in my head again?

  6. Did anyone elese here that or was it the voices in my head again?
    Translation
Did anyone else hear that or was it the voices in my head again?
sorry spell check not working, I think I broke it with my bad spelling and grammer.

  7. This Iggy is so contrived and and such a last gasp of the Liberal party trying to find a reason to exist. They have become a parody of themselves. So obviously in search of raw power and little else. But then that is what all the scum who crave power do … and little else.
Canadian citizen: for best results, govern yourself. The pigs in charge DO NOT CARE about you. You are revenue and nothing more.

  8. I think after he losses he will return to Harvard and become one of OBOZOs first health care victims…..The way he look….will he survive an election??? In that video he looks like a very sick man.

  9. You can do better than Dion, I would hope.
You CAN do better… with a different leader. Preferably one picked from the Liberal A-List, like Manley or McKenna.
The Leafs can do better, too. But even they know that winning means actually being better.

  10. If true, this beyond being a big story:
“President Obama and the US Secretary of State fuelled a fierce American backlash against Britain, claiming Abdelbaset Al Megrahi should have been forced to serve out his jail sentence in Scotland – but a senior Whitehall aide said their reaction was ‘disingenuous’.
British officials claim Mr Obama and Mrs Clinton were kept informed at all stages of discussions concerning Megrahi’s return.
The officials say the Americans spoke out because they were taken aback by the row over Megrahi’s release, not because they did not know it was about to happen.”
No.10 turns on Obama and Clinton for criticising decision to release Lockerbie bomber

  11. Well it would appear that Canadians may have another chance to finally punish the Liberals for Trudeau, Cretian, Martin, Dion and Igant. Yes indeed we can do better.
With a Tory majority imagine the gains possible for Canada on the world stage with four years of serious government certain. What four years of sober thought and direction would mean for our economy.

  12. It’s actually Monaco’s flag.
Iggy talks about places like China, India and Indonesia. He wouldn’t actually visit them…
    Monaco is more his style.

just gonna have to pay more attention or keep inventing new words. here’s some old words for the igster: “up yers ye lieberals”
    aint technology wunnerful !!!

  14. Classi9c BS.
    1) Challenge to Canadian machismo – Canadians can do it and win!!!
    2) Global economy – where Canadian jobs are off-shored.
    3) This guy hasn’t lived in Canada for so long he doesn’t know it.

  15. Bobby Sox Ray is waiting in the wings, encouraging Iffy Iggy … “Go For It! It’s A Winner! You Deserve It!”.

  16. With only 311 views of his video ad, I don’t think it’s making even Liberals happy.
Also, it appears that only the Canadians he has met outside of Canada are the “best”.

This story, if it were true, for those who follow international relations, is not a shocker … rather it is the norm.
It is becoming a shocker because of the amateurism of the ObamawWunda administration. These people are driven by juvenile agitprop rather than an appreciation of reality.

  18. This looks like it might be copyright abuse. I wonder if the Liberals received approval from the Indonesians to use their flag?

  19. “I know Canadians (sic) can do better…”?!
It is so beautiful seeing the Liberals royally screw up on the communications front. I had thought it was a Conservative monopoly.
“WE” you pretentious idiot, “we can do better”.

  20. Hardly the firebrand and content one would expect from someone insisting on an election just three months after he said one was not necessary. Will anyone in the msm ask him about reports that the lp and he were plotting a fall campaign june immediately after he said there was no compelling reason to go to the polls?

  21. Iain:
With a Tory majority imagine the gains possible for Canada on the world stage with four years of serious government certain.
Sorry, Iain, it’s not going to happen. I’m paraphrasing some columnist here (and I wish I could remember his name to give him attribution), but Quebec is lost to the Tories so long as Harper remains leader. Not that Harper is bad, or stupid, but his image is so tarnished, it’s irretrievable. If they win 10 seats in Quebec, I’d be amazed. The Bloc will lots of seats in Quebec, with the Libs taking a few in Montreal.
Atlantic Canada? Mostly Liberal, with a few scattered Tories. Not enough seats to make any difference.
Ontario? Libs will win Ottawa and Toronto; Tories will do well elsewhere. A few NDP seats.
Manitoba to Alberta? Lots of Tories on a percentage basis, but not enough seats to make a majority.
BC? Split between NDP, Libs and Tories (with the remote possibility of the Greens actually getting a seat or two).
Net-net-net? Tory or Liberal minority. No majority for everyone without a shift in party leaders, and a galvanizing issue. Just don’t see it on the horizon, although as someone said “24 hours is a long time in politics”.

  22. “I’m paraphrasing some columnist here”
Well then, to paraphrase some columnist, must make it true!
    They have NO idea.

  23. Oh KevinB since your columnist seems so prescient could you get him to call the 9th at Northlands race track? I love to watch the jugheads but I never trust myself to place a bet. Well that might be a bit much seeing as how he is from the Centre of the Universe so how about he just gives us the winning 649 numbers.

  24. “We can approach China”.
Dear Count. The Liberals have already done that. I gather you mean “approach China again”, but this time, with more feeling.
The new Liberals – “We’ll Steal Less Next Time”.

  25. Hey, we have a Kenyan Muslim Communist racist anti-America President. So, what’s the big deal about Canada having a glib American Harvard ivory tower leftist know-nothing as PM??? 🙂

  26. I am bothered that PM Harper is going to see Obama this month. Why? Obama the radical Marxist….I certainly hope he doesn’t get talked into more bailouts while he is there. Obama is an Alinsky veteran..courteous, soft spoken talk will win them over…
    What do you people think??

  27. Kevinb:
I haven’t done a riding by riding analysis yet – I still think there is a less than fifty percent chance thAt the NDs will vote in favour and recent rhetoric from them backs that idea up. But I think you are being much to pessimistic at this point in time.
Iggy has hurt his chNces by wanting an election and this will cost him much of the gains in popularity he has had over Dion. I would expect a couple more seats in Atlantic cAnada esp in NL. As for ontario about another five for the cp incl Guelph and Mississauga. A couple in western Canada – Edmonton and one in bc for sure.
As for Quebec there are several very recent developments that bode well for the cpc:
    1. Crime and punishment – quebecers are even bigger on tougher laws than western cdns according to the polls. Those attack ads on the bq a few months back weren’t for nothing.
2 Harper is far and away the most trusted on finance issues in qc
3 iggy hasn’t closed the deal there – not even close to dong so either
    4. Harper and charest have kissed and made up – charest will support the cpc this time around whereas last time he was a real pr1ck.
    5. Mulroney has been brought in from the cold – a very important thing in rural qc and it was key to point 4 happening.
    6. It is an open secret that duceppe and a dozen or more bq mps were/are planning to quit within the next twelve months. They will run if an election happens now, but they will lose a lot of support as they as lame a bunch of dicks as you will ever see.
I think it entirely possible that qc could go very big for the cpc especially if it looks like the Tories will win a majority. Qcers are very big on backing winners. Think dief In 58.

  28. I’m struck by the emptiness of the message — clearly the main issue for the Liberals is simply that the Conservatives are sitting in the seats that the Liberals think belong to them, doling out the appointments and funding that Liberals think they themselves should be controlling. However, I can’t really object to the two-stripe flag. It’s the same standard that flies from the lances of the riders in the RCMP Musical Ride, which I saw at the PNE yesterday. If I recall the announcer’s words correctly, it was authorized for Canada by King George in 1921, so it’s hard to knock the Libs for that. No problem, since there’s so much else that they deserve criticism for.

  29. Quoted: I thought orange was the NDP colours.
Did Jack and Bob form a coalition and not tell Iffy?
No, yellow would be the NDP’s colours.

  30. Coincidental SDA did an Indonesia bit I just got out from there after enjoying a nice 7.2 earthquake last week (not fun on the 6th floor of my Jakarta hotel – especially not fun for the village that was buried in a subsequent landslide).
As far as Iggy goes, Harper needs to give him an election NOW so that we can have a majority conservative government and scrap the gun registry like Harper keeps promising!

  31. I think they have their slogan (“We can do better: Liberals”) backwards. It should be:
    “Liberals? We can do better!”

  32. Am I the only person who feels a bit unsettled by this? I have an inkling that there is something going on that we don’t know about. Maybe the coalition has formed again or they have some bombshell they plan on dropping during the election.
Maybe they know that the NDP will support the Conservatives so Iggy gets to act all tough but not follow through on an actual election. Something doesn’t feel right about this whole thing.

  33. Shudder. Now the Liberals want to rule like the brutal dictator Suharto ruled. No wonder Chretien was so protective of the SOB at APEC ’97.
And who can forget that Iggy favors torture?
