Couldn’t have been. You can’t see the nose.

Ahah, colin. So what is the lump below the eyes? It looked like the sveltest to me.
And back to the main post, how the hell do you judge a burkha??? Is it the one who shrieks the loudest? Or has the most jihadists in training?

  4. Grand-dad:
    You’re wicked, eh? Wicked!
    Kate:
Got me good there. Didn’t get the irony for a few minutes.. well done!

  5. I don’t care what you people say. I won the contest and you didn’t! And where else could I win a contest regarding morality?

  6. Was looking forward to the swimsuit contest but I guess too many stones flying about. Must have busted the camera lens.

  7. The picture at the link describes “Female Saudi women in Riyadh”.
So I begin to wonder what other kinds of Saudi women exist there.

  8. Good catch john.
Having kept their chattel and child bearing citizens under house arrest, head to toe wraps, behind bars and locks, for so long now that they can’t even coherently describe them.
Will she be the one elected to publicly flog the next young rape victim? She has been deemed with the highest morals you know…
    What a barbaric backwards society.

  9. What, we don’t even get to see their eyes?
At least I could see the eyes and hands of the Muslim woman at the drugstore who was forbidden by her hubby to even buy Kotex stuff and had to wait as he made the purchase transaction on her behalf. Well, at least it was a nice burka, obviously well-made and expensive. Much nicer than the cloth bags the Taliban make ’em wear in Afghanistan.
First time I ever encountered a burka-wearing woman in my entire life (I’m in the second half of my third decade now). I’ll tell ya, only in the past few years (after 9/11), have I noticed lots and lots of obviously-fundamentalist Muslims suddenly walking around and literally, actually, moving in next door…
I’m waiting ’til they attempt to intimidate the local politicians into making special, exclusive concessions to them… like they do in Europe and have in other N.A. communities.
How come the Leftist State Apparatus thumbs down, censors and punishes JudeoChristians for being themselves, but exalts the Muslims? Isn’t that discriminatory?

  10. Oh, and I didn’t even think to click on the pic. It’s so obvious and cliche, in the context of what burka-clad Muslims look like, that I got it immediately.
It’s like those cartoons with the captions “A non-offensive-to-Muslims cartoon”, which are totally white and blank.

  11. Photo Caption at link:
    “Female Saudi women in Riyadh”.
    As opposed to what?
The caption could just as easily have said:
“Male Crossdressing Saudi men in Ridayh”.
and really, who could tell the difference?

  12. Bottom ten only flogged?
Check the bottom of the Red Sea for those that didn’t even make the cut for the contest.
Either that or piles of charcoal beside empty gas cans.

  13. Interesting Prizes (a pearl necklace, diamond watch, diamond necklace) to award to a woman who is not allowed (by law) to display them… Or am I missing something here?

  14. No matter how many times I click on the black square I just can’t seem to get to the ‘Spring Break Burka Babes’ web page. Can someone send me the URL?

  15. As black as the scene in the car at the bottom of the canal.
And Canada’s feminist groups scream …..

  16. In other news, Fatima a contestant in the Miss Moral Beauty pageant was stoned to death by her family for not being as morally beautiful as the winner and thereby “bringing disgrace on her family”

  17. She cannot go to Malaysia without a male escort, by the way.
I can only imagine Western feminists praising this sort of thing because it’s not “lookist”, unlike beauty contests in the Western world. Look, feminists- if you’re not pretty enough to be in a real beauty contest, fine, but don’t slag the people that are. They’ve got to do something with their lives, the way you need to butt in and whine about stuff.

  18. After naming the winner as Aya Ali al-Mulla, the article then twice drops the ‘al-‘ and adds an ‘h’ to her name – Mullah. Is this an Arabic naming convention or an AFP screw-up?

  19. I wonder if part of the winning morals would be teaching your children to hate Jews and raising them to be suicide bombers. Just wondering.

  20. I’m reminded of a photo I saw of a Saudi man taking a photo of five of his female relatives, arriving at the airport in Riyadh, burqa-wearing from head to foot. Five black blobs standing next to each other. I thought why the hell would he want a photo? Bizarre.

  21. Beauty contests should have a shooting competition along with the talent and swimsuit bit. High-power of course, none of this Olympic .22 crap. 200, 300 and 600 yards, iron sights, bolt action service rifles. .303, .3006, 8mm, 6.5x55mm or 6mm Arisaka, none of this .223 poodle gun ammo.
In fact, the swimsuit competition could be combined with the shooting. Show us what you’re made of, girls!
    Hey, I’d watch it. ~:D

  22. Oh yeah, good luck to the Saudi girls trying to hit anything with that tent on their heads.
And good luck to the Saudi guy/fool who crosses them after they train up for the swimsuit-and-shoot competition, too.

  23. Hey, Optimist, my Dutch is rusty. Does that article indicate whether or not the contest is open to female non-ninjas, as well?

  24. What, in Canada, is stopping recent Muslim women immigrants from getting rid of their burkhas and walking around like ordinary women in Canada, regardless of what their hubbies think? And what’s stopping them from, with the backing of the State Apparatus and Canadian People, from telling their Islamo-supremacist P.O.S. male-chauvinist hubbies to feck right off? Surely the “Human Righs” Commission will stand up for these women against their oppressive, violent male sex-slavemasters?!
I’d love to see that burka-clad woman again in my city, and talk with her (oh, wait, I, a non-hearing dude, can’t “lipread” her due to the damned burka, so alternative communication means will have to be used) and tell her that it’s OK to go around like other women here.
It’s insane for women, be they natural-born or just visiting, to be forbidden by their hubbies to purchase monthly womens’ stuff. Where the feck in the Koran does it say that women can’t buy their own Kotex stuff?!
What’s happening to the world? Is Islam taking over, slowly, everywhere? I’m serious… I see, since about two, three years ago, in my community, sudden, rapid, Islamization, societal transformation, obviously un-Charter-of-Rights-and-Freedoms-like, happening in my community.
Eventually, there will have to be a burka-burning! Let’s all get together, Muslims and “kufrs”, at bonfires, fuelled by plenty of aclohol, and burn the damned oppressive, male-chauvinist things!
Let’s tell our Muslim women friends and neighbors that they DON’T have to wear burkas or hijabs. They can do whatever they want!
    Canada ueber Ummah!
Down with Islamo-Supremacism and violence against women!

  25. I think the point the Arabs want to make is that we should be in awe of their moral integrity.
The shining light of purity that penetrates the black veil is blinding ……. NO?
Phantom … Good idea …. how about side arms combat shooting? 7mm and 9mm ….

  26. And good luck to the Saudi guy/fool who crosses them after they train up for the swimsuit-and-shoot competition, too. ~ The Phantom at 2:54 PM
What a great idea; arm the women. That would definitely command respect. They’d never know who had Beretta under the burqa.
