  1. I alwyas laugh when I hear that the Christian right is ant-science because they question Darwin’s theory of evolution as it does not match the bible. Yet the looney left are full of people who question the moon landing, believe 9/11 was an inside job, think the government is covering up the arrival of aliens at Rosewell, think aids is a CIA plot to kill gays, drug users and promiscuous blacks, think aborting late term babies is OK because they are not yet real “persons”, think man made global warming is true because the earth is warmer now than when they were children, thought planes would fall out of the sky and nuclear reactors explode because of Y2K, and so forth. Scratch a lefty and get an anti-science bigot.

  2. I hear people talking like this all the time. It’s when they end up on television, that I start to lose my cool.

  3. I can now see why Rosepig O’Donut is so fat; look at the size of the cake-hole!

  4. As a “wise africana american” Whoopies’ life experience gives her insight that the rest of us can not begin to grasp.

  5. Whoopi is now on my list of actors and performers that I will NEVER EVER pay money to see. The list also includes David Letterman, Danny Glover and Sean Penn (and of course Rosie the retard).

  6. anon: Huh? make a counter point. What is wrong with my statement? You just proved my thesis that lefties are incapable of logical thought. That must be why you hide behind anonymity because you are too embarrassed of your inferior mental capacities to put your name with the drivel that comes out of your pie hole. But I bet you “feel” like a real man for your worthless barb. When you graduate kindergarten in 10 years come back and make your point.

  7. I’m surprised that she hasn’t brought up the ‘wacko jacko got wacked’ storyline yet. Or maybe she has, does anyone actually watch this stuff.

  8. Tom….thank god we can’t see her insights. No brain is big enough to grasp the importance of her insights.

  9. Can’t waste my time watching this. The whole flag thing – geez, could she be a little bit curious and look in the intertubes for two minutes? A horizontal bar held the flag up, and fluttering was just imparted momentum from adjusting the pole
This gets back to the whole water dowsing thing – idiots like her who hold crackpot theories are potentially harmless – but when their theories are given credance because of their “exalted positions” as wise [insert category] women, (or men), we head down a road to collective idiocy

  10. And as I flipped through the channels and went by Vision TV (the “spiritual” chanel) they were running a “we didn’t go to the moon” documentary.
Anyway, maybe Whoopi could get the guys from Mythbusters, like CNN and CTV did. But they never brought on anyone to challenge Rosie on fire melts steel, or if the proposed it I am sure Rosie loudly ojected and claimed it was an anti lesbian conspiracy.
That they would question that Barabara’s good friend Walter Cronkite would participate in such a fraud must gaul her. I would hope Walters would repsond this time and not tolerate this kind of crap.

  11. The View is the worst program on TV. It is nothing more than a handful of clucking hens (with the exception of Elisabeth Hasselbeck) whose combined IQ equals that of a cabbage. For anybody to even think that Goldberg has anything intelligent to say on any subject is beyond belief.

  12. Why would anyone want to watch people as stupid as this?
They admit to historical ignorance but spout nonesense.
Perhaps people feel like there smart after watching these parrots squwak.

  13. When somebody tells me one of these millions of conspiracy stories I simply say that I don’t believe in conspiracy theories. They don’t get much of it out of their mouths before the shut up.
Dowsing for water pipes under the ground does work. I didn’t believe either but I have done it with cut up wire coat hangers.

i dunno, man… if america can put a man on the moon
why can’t they do something about those poor people
    on gilligan’s island
    ?

  15. yup, I am with Neo on that… I say we all set out in rafts separated by 100 yards of rope and simply comb the seas in search of…

  16. I will never in my lifetime understand why ordinary, everyday citizens fall into the trap of thinking that someone knows more about a subject matter than they do simply because they are a celebrity or a journalist. In my mind, celebrities and journalists don’t know diddly and apparently, as shown by various actions and speaches, have no capacity for things like logic and common sense. These people, for the most part, have no more information on the subject than you or I but somehow feel like preaching to the rest of us minions about their OPINION which is not based on facts.

  17. I betcha a lots of europeans went to their graves refusing to believe Christopher Columbus or whatever is real name was, actually got to the new world. or Magellan’s ship went all the way around.
because it had to mean the world was ROUND and not flat.
wtf is it about the humahhn psyche so many latch onto such whackoness? what is that?

  18. That flat earth idea only dates to the 1740s. Ancient Greeks came up with a measurement of the circumference of the earth, and they were pretty close, too.

  19. M.S. you are right. These whack jobs dress up in costumes and play make believe for a living.
As for their political insight, Alice Cooper had it. “Rock n Rollers are morons. They stay up all night and party. They sleep all day. Anyone who looks to a rocker(thespian)for political advise is an even bigger moron)!!

  20. Fritz:
I’ve said this probably a dozen times, but for your benefit, here’s another one: Please tell me how your name is any more or less anonymous than mine. Do I know if Fritz is your name? Do you know if Bill is my name?
Now, to get to the main topic, allow me to be clearer: You’re full of sh*t. You made the assertions, so if you want to play this game of point-counterpoint, provide some proof of what you’re saying. Every person I know with leftward views prizes rationality, and we all know how YOUR end of the political spectrum is filled with whackjob fundamentalists, creationists, flat-earthers, global warming conspiracy nuts, anti-choice doctor killers, racists and homophobes. Need I go on?

  21. Dowsing for water pipes under the ground does work. I didn’t believe either but I have done it with cut up wire coat hangers.
    Sure you have.

  22. Anyways, this Web page debunks the flag-fluttering myth. It turns out that the ‘flutter’ was the result of vibrations that didn’t damp out. Sincew the moon’s a vacuum, there’s no air to muffle a vibration caused by (in this case) the astronauts planting the flag on the moon.
I think I know why they photographed the moving flag. For those in the know, it’s a real man-bites-dog event. I can almost hear one of the astronauts saying, “how about that?”

  23. Every person I know with leftward views prizes rationality
    Surely you jest with us.

  24. richfischer – I was gonna comment on that slavery thing but got too lazy to find that vid. It was appalling – and I think that McCain really blew it – he let her control the interview, whereas he really could have taken over and blown her stupid statements out of the water. Sorry I’m a bit off-topic, but the whole “View” thing gets my BP higher than it usually is.

  25. As an African American woman Whoopi is a credit to all that is black in America and should be proud to be on that stage after generations of struggle. The fact that she is a psychologically challenged nigress artist should be overlooked and she should be exempt from conservative ridicule. Unless Mrs. … I’m sorry… “Senator” Boxer allows another black actress/ black comedian to challenge Whoopie on her claims which are in fact “truth” until stated otherwise by another of her kind.
It’s offensive to me that racists such as “Senator” Boxer would not herself have the courage to appear on the View and challenge Whoopi head on with another African American woman, hopefully much darker and more famous than Whoopie herself (to give increased credibility). I think Janet Jackson would have given an inspired rebuttal of the “moon walk” settling all arguments!

  26. hollllly faaaacc*.
Seriously??? People call out Bill O’Reilley. Liz Hasselbeck. Limbaugh. But no one ever says, ‘Jesus Christ, these women are nutbats?’
    ffs.

Hey, Billy-boy, did you record that screed and do you replay it often, to send a Chris Matthews-like tingle up your leg? Or do you simply like the sound of your own voice?
Every person I know with leftward views prizes rationality, and we all know how YOUR end of the political spectrum is filled with whackjob fundamentalists, creationists, flat-earthers, global warming conspiracy nuts, anti-choice doctor killers, racists and homophobes. Need I go on?
    Umm… let’s see.
I reckon the people with so-called “leftward views” that you know don’t contribute to the HufPo or Daily Kos, or are the View Witches, for starters. Not that they are “whackjobs”, as you so neatly have smeared the right side of the politisphere.
Racists? Gee, Einstein: what political party abolished slavery in the US? (Hint: it ends in “ublican”). What party recorded the most votes against the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and has the only ex-Klansmen sitting in Congress? (Hint: it ends in “emocrat”). What party has decimated the American Black Family with its welfare apartheid of the last 50 years? (See the last hint).
Who has persecuted scientists, politicians and professionals for their righteous skepticism on the whole AGW hysteria? The left. Who brooks absolutely no critical or oppositional thinking to the current PC mantra on education, immigration, race, and same-sex marriage? The left, the most ruthlessly intolerant cadre of groupthink there is.
The left is laughable in their hypocrisy: they claim to “worry about the children” when it comes the the Department of Agriculture in planning their lunch menus, but could care less about aborting them. And, O Masterful and All-Reasoning Bill, as far as your slur regarding “anti-choice doctor killers”, by reasonable estimates, the US contains some 150 million pro-lifers, whereas only five (5) abortionists have been killed since Roe v. Wade. One would think these numbers would be sufficiently unbiased enough for you and your braintrust not to characterize the other 149,999,995 of ’em as “doctor killers”, but rational thought may be just outside your grasp. Not that we guessed likewise, considering the brilliance of your posts, mind you.
On the other hand, since Roe v. Wade, some 49 million babies have perished at the hands of abortionists. Can we now start to characterize the other 150 million pro-choicers as “child-abusing murderers”? Thought not, Bill; that’d be that leftish double-standard and all.
Next time, doofus, don’t break the Prozac in half before posting. Or do a bit of fact checking beforehand, and you won’t look quite so idiotic.
    Just a thought.

  28. allan – james randi was a topic on this website a short while ago – an amazing man, rational and intelligent.
Thanks God I can come here for intellectual satisfaction amongst peers

  29. I thought Roe vs. Wade were the two ways to get across the Pottomac…..sorry
Having only seen clips from The View, via O’Reilly, I can’t comprehend how much medication you would have to be on to be a regular viewer.
It clearly shows that rational thought on the left is circling the bowl.
Please Kate, no more View clips.

  30. First, “Mythbusters” did an entire show debunking every single one of the conspiracy theorists’ notions re: the moon landings. But since that channel is beyond basic cable, Whoopi probably doesn’t know how to count that high.
And that Rosie clip – “First time in history fire melted steel”. WTF?! How does this moron think steel gets made in the first place?
The scary thing is “The View” is popular among women; no wonder Bambam got so much of the female vote.

  31. This pitiful tv show makes me question my life.
I mean, if a handful of retards can make millions of dollars saying asinine and stupid things on tv, what the hell am I doing wrong??

  32. One of the worst shows on TV and that’s not saying much.
Barbara Walters should leave that show. Although a liberal, she’s not ultra moonbatty like Whoopie-flatulence or Joy-by-ignorance.
I wonder if Whoops-gas would be as “doubtful” of her “government institutions” like she is on the moonlanding and probably 9/11 like O’donut is, if she was asked to give her opinion on Obama’s sealed life documentation which is blocked from all and any public scrutiny?

  33. More conspiracies. Like Whoopi I like science fiction stories as entertainment. Look up NASA Project Blue Beam.
As someone mentioned JFK, my eyes say he was hit from the front and no scientist will convince me Osy had Elmer Fudd’s gun with the boomerang bullets. The conspiracy of conspiracies a plant in the mix to discredit others.
    Religion conspiracy and Horus.

  34. Anumber of things to address….
Perhaps conspiracy theories gain a loyal following as a result of the Warren Commission’s report with “the magic bullet etc….anybody smarter than a 5th grader could see through that…
The Warren Commision is actually a glowing example of the futility to conceal a conspiracy….no rational person believes Oswalt acted alone or that it was possible to accurately discharge a Manlicter Carcarno that fast.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is safe as houses re her job on the view…..it’s all about ratings….sort of ironic that….. Star Jones (a lawyer) got the boot and but Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a fixture…….
I don’t watch “The View” or “Oprah” but see and hear the rumblings they create…..

  35. in a small defense of rosie rivet-er-pie-hole-shut, the thing about fire melting steel I suspect she meant building fires. which are in fact not hot ehough to melt steel.
they don’t have to be, just hot enough to weaken it. which is what took the towers down. I saw the documentary; discussed the question of insulation on the 4 main inner beams (inside of which ran the elevators). never designed for a planeload of jet fuel.
Is there a petition anywhere to have o’DAHnell exiled to that island in the south atlantic?

  36. “First time in history that fire ever melted steel”.
Gosh; what have Blacksmiths been doing for all those centuries. What were swords and armor made of? What were cooking pots made of, and wagon wheels?
How did they melt steel before electricity; Grandpa?
And no one on the dingbat show had the thought to ask?
I’m for the old days when we put the insane in Asylums for their own protection. Now we use then for entertainment. How inhuman!

  37. The sad/scary/dangerous thing about these talk shows is that they influence so many gullible, stupid women out there. Add Oprah and Ellen to that list as well.

  38. How did all the beams weaken at the same time. Tip not a straight down collapse. Secondly there were strange things going on in the buildings leading up to that day. Power outages, people etc.. As with climate change propaganda, scientists on the gov payroll come to the gov conclusion. An independent second look never hurts when requested by the families. The fact the gov wanted Kissinger in charge of the investigation is a red flag alone. Then the construction was to withstand multiple jet crashes being a NY high rise. The city emergency worker stated explosions in WTC 7. To bad he had a fatal heart attack. (small plain crash or heart attack or suicide, how do they decide). This is all spec..
Remember the climate change conspiracy posts here……………

  39. Mythbusters did a good job on the whole flag flapping in a vacuum. Whoopi would do well to take in a few MB episodes. We could call it Headbusters… ’cause Whoopi’s head would explode. 🙂

  40. Don’t forget Woodie climb the SF Bridge Haroldson. I absolutely refuse to watch anything he is in or about.

  41. Gunney99: “I’m for the old days when we put the insane in Asylums for their own protection. Now we use then for entertainment.”
“Now we elect them” would be more accurate.
