there are 2 issues here with the CBSC. 1.The content… is it fair and balanced and truthful. 2. Is the tone dismissive and belligerent toward the callers. On the first, the CBSC is totally out of its league here with neither the expertise nor the competency to even venture an opinion… but they do in their “make it up as we go along” judgement.
The second they are right in their estimation. But, who cares? If you don’t like the show, don’t listen! I don’t listen to Greene, even though he is right on most things. I don’t listen to him simply for the frustration factor. When good people call in, some articulate, some not, he shreds them without listening half the time. As a listener I prefer to be informed, and that includes listening to his callers. So in that sense Greene rates low in my estimation. He rushes too many through so he can say he has broad opinion without listening to any of them. Green needs to chill, slow down, give his head a shake and listen… But does he have a right to do what he does without the CBSC… you bet! and we need more with his opinion… but he would reach a wider audience should he decide to inject a little more grace into the discourse.

It’s preposterous that the OIC is involved in Global Human Rights issues and has at the same time forced the UN to officially adopt a bill banning criticism of Islam.
This is the same organization that only supports the Shariah based, Declaration of Islamic Human Rights (Cairo) vs. The UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Islam = Sharia law. Sharia law is the antithesis of equality, human rights, democracy and civilized, western society.

As for fighting for our basic freedoms, that’s what I’ve been doing for decades, writing and researching, after a short stint in the military. I’m trying to get people to think for themselves, and not just live for every damned word that falls from a politician’s or radio talk-show host’s mouth.
As for the OZ comment, that wasn’t intended as a put-down, in fact, it’s a reality that society is an artificial construct based upon a commercial ideology. “OZ” stands for Ounces Troy of gold, the standard by which wealth is determined, particularly national wealth. In fact, the story “The Wizard of OZ” was an allegorical expose of the commercialized construct of the financial elite – the society we have, today. It does not represent the natural paradigm that God intended for humanity, but is a counterfeit. Again, no insult intended, but you will not be familiar with where this is going, so you’d best study for yourself. This is at least a start.
That’s all I ask of anyone… just question and study for yourself, instead of being the children of rhetoric that most North Americans are.
