  1. Once again the TOLERANT ones no doubt, you know the tolerant people like Simpson Wente Martin and on and on, the angry faces in the MSM who skewer the GOOD people of this earth every time they put pen to paper, or put their angry faces in front of a camera. Like the National Newswatch that every chance they get blame PMSH for everything from financial meltdown to roadkill. The enemy is the MSM people, the most destructive force on earth without firing a shot. I hope the church is rebuilt and the angry leftie that did this is caught and crucified on the new cross.

  2. Shameful and appalling. There aren’t adequate words to describe how much disgust I feel right now.
I’m repulsed by the left. But you won’t see me and others on my side destroying property and endangering human life. We are so, so much better than them.

  3. Sad — might be a random incident, thankfully no one was hurt.
Like others have said, funny how the MSM cares little for this — imagine Jeremiah Wright’s church was gutted?

  4. Thought experiment: which scenario is most likely?
    – A car with a “No Nukes” bumper sticker, keyed by a rabid right winger.
    – A car with an “I like Nuclear Power” bumper sticker, keyed by a left wing environmentalist.

welcome to the blog, at least you have spine enough to actually give us your name, most of the time the trolls call themselves ANON cc etc.
it may be a strange experience for you if you hang around, discussion based on fact and common sense, instead of ideology and retoric.

“imagine Jeremiah Wright’s church was gutted?”
Great point!…….. I imagine that the MSM outrage would have paralleled the Martin Luther King assassination. There would have been witch hunts for the reemergence of the “new” KKK along with documentaries of the horrible plights of black America. The lunatic momentum would have built the fervor leading to looting & riots. This of course would have lead to dozens of “white” churches being burnt as a second thought amongst the ensuing lawlessness. Barack Obamba would have taken center stage to cool the masses with promises of more hope and change along with massive outpouring of taxpayer funds to the black communities. Jessy Jackson and Al Sharpton would have found a new lease on their diminishing race baiting careers and Jessy Jr. would have had won the brass ring.
Just imagining of course………but we do have a long list of historical resources and precedents to draw conclusions from.

  7. The savagery and viciousness of the personal attacks on Sarah Palin by the leftist media and blogs was beyond belief. They started a mob mentality with everyone piling on to see who could outdo the other. The media and especially “progressive feminists” couldn’t conceal their pure hatred of this charismatic and courageous woman.
It is to be hoped that this fire has nothing to do with the Governor but if it is the work of some deranged Palin hater, the msm bears the brunt of the blame.

  8. Looked at the 1rst page of comments on the ‘washington post’ and as usual their commentary is 70% from ‘left wingnuts’ that have to just spew their crap about ‘SP’ hate syndrome.

  9. Oh, but some unprofessional s.o.b at the secret service leaked to the press that Palin’s appearances had increased death threats against Obama. Uh-huh. It is always those conservatives who are full of hatred.
But somehow, it is usually the liberals/greens/socialists who end up doing the deed. What are the odds.

  10. Robert McClelland what are you doing here? I thought you were saving Polly Jones!! How do you find the time?

  11. Funny how when something appalling and disgusting befalls the unclean and unrighteous, it is God’s wrath for their sinful ways (e.g. HIV as a punishment for deviant unnatural sexuality), but when something horrible happens to the self-righteous the thought that this may have been God’s wrath is entirely circumvented and replaced with the idea that out of this undeserved evil might issue some goodness. Couldn’t this have been God’s wrath for being a mindless Republican? How can I know when evil is God’s wrath or just regular evil?
Something tells me it has something to do with sanctimonious self-righteousness, and the arrogance to think we could ever discern the mind of God, but I’m not sure. Perhaps some of the wing nut fundamentalist Xians lurking around here could tell me.

  12. I find the left-wing, disrespectful posters here offensive. They show how defective both their thinking and feelings are: a building, with people in it, was SET ON FIRE.
That’s OK because it was Sarah Palin’s church? Shake your heads: you’re disgusting.

  13. You lefties are pretty brave behind a keyboard.
asd… you are the worst kind of scum. Christians kids killed in a fire? I bet you’d like that.
A footnote? You will never even be that. If you ever said that to my face…well..you wouldn’t have the balls to now would you. You’re a coward like all leftists.
    I spit on you.

  14. Well Raph…the media are the ones who made the link.
Palin’s church probably has many activities going on all year, but the Focus on the Family conference was referred to in the story.
Is it the media ‘assuming’, or are we?

  15. now if the lefties would build their own CLUBHOUSE maybe they could be targeted by the disenfranchised lefties, and so only endanger themselves and still have their fire

  16. Jesus had far worse said and done to him than the Robert McLellands of the world and yet he always said to forgive. That’s what we are all called to do.

  17. I was home for the weekend and my mother allowed how she doen’t “hate” evangelicals, but she is only “disgusted by them.” This is a woman who lived under Nazi occupation and saw friends dragged off to their death. The work of the Goebels of the new left has been done. Just a quick read of the lefties here defending the attempted murder of the little Chritianists (where was Andrew Sullivan, anyway) is enough to turn one’s stomach.

  18. Jonah Goldberg wrote a book about Liberal Fascism. I guess he was write, considering the posts of some individuals.

  19. One thing I noticed … my spyware detector throws up a “Dangerous website” warning when I link to the WaPo….. So not surprisingly the Wapo is a marginal cyber criminal attempting to install tracking software onto online readers computers. Ethics? What ethics?
Two things you can be sure of by the way the MSMers are treating this story.
    1- Antangonized Conservatives
    2- Agitated and empowered Moonbats.
As evidenced by the comments in the thread.

  20. We have two generations and counting who have never really been taught ethical thinking and behaviour. Religion has lost prominence, but nothing has taken its place to provide ethical guidance. Leftist philosophy is unfortunately no substitute, as anyone on a modern university campus can attest.
At least Randian Objectivists try to provide a secular ethics, as do many libertarians. But with leftists it seems to be all about power and defeating the evil forces that prevent the left from grabbing power. That’s why Palin was so evil — she was seen as a threat. That’s why they still have to attack her. They still see her as a potential threat.
No ethics. Just a huge gaping hole where ethical thinking and motivation should be.

  21. Al-Fin, you’ve got it. Our schools are filled with immature, entitled brats, whose parents are . . . well, immature, entitled brats! (So are most of the administrators.) And all the schools do is sing “Kumbaya”: no discipline allowed. This crazy formula is supposed to produce responsible, productive, empathetic, altruistic—hey, what’s that?—citizens?
As we see here, by the presence of the lefties, who are the “normal” products of our anti-Christian culture, this hippy-dippy formula’s a dismal failure.
    Kyrie eleison.
