Since Obama seems to be in favor of funding politicians with lots of small donations perhaps he can be persuaded to show up at one of the rallies on behalf of the Conservatives.

As one pundit observed, there is no such government position as “The Office of the President-Elect.” Yet, it is a measure of Barack Obama’s hubris (and vanity) that for a time he held press conferences whose locus was a lectern bearing the splayed federal eagle encircled by the fictive and powerless title, a knock-off of the Presidential Seal. The title is as phony as a three-dollar bill. We can all thank Bush there where no 9/11’s after the first. That North America has avoided a major terrorist attack. He did what an elected Presidents sworn oath commands him too. With the highest priority. He protected his people.
He can sleep at nights knowing that no matter what folks make up or condemn like hurricane Katrina. If nothing else GWB reminded us all Government can’t do much & the President is only a man with flaws like us all.
He may have screwed up , but he did other things well. The most important being, he keep us safe as best he could with success. That’s a good resume to my mind.

old white guy, haven’t you heard? If the govt writes you a check, that’s a tax cut. If they later lower the amount of that check, that’s a tax increase. If they lower the marginal rate and you pay more because you make more, that’s a tax cut, if they raise rates and you pay less because the economy slows down, that’s still a tax increase. It is all so simple.

I should have said, if the govt writes you a check, and in following years the check doesn’t keep pace with inflation, that’s a tax increase too.
All of the money are belong to Obama. Obama’s definition of take home pay? Lost revenue opportunity.

Dear Employees, Customers and Suppliers:
When Barrack Obama becomes our next President, we all know our taxes and government fees will increase in a big way.
As the CFO of a business that employees 140 people, and in order to compensate for these increases, I figure that our customers will have to see an increase of about 8% in our prices. Since we cannot increase prices right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here, and I didn’t know how to choose who will have to go.
So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lot and found six Obama bumper stickers on our employees’ cars, and have decided that these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can’t think of a more fair way to approach this problem. These folks wanted change, so I gave it to them.
