20 Replies to “Four More Years Of “Failed” Bush Policies!”

  1. Since Obama seems to be in favor of funding politicians with lots of small donations perhaps he can be persuaded to show up at one of the rallies on behalf of the Conservatives.

  2. You always knew when Obama was flip-flopping on something because he’s start the sentence with “I’ve always said…”

  3. Well THANK HEAVENS Hussein has rightly decided to govern from the center. Otherwise America could just behind over and kiss her ass goodbye.

  4. GYM,
    My thought exactly.
    I could tell you he’s a dishonest, manipulative, say what will cover your ass at the moment kind of man without ANY research.
    Sheesh, I don’t care what party he represents, he’s a f*cking politician.
    Funny how partisans can ONLY see that in the OTHER guy.

  5. Who would have thought that Bush and Obama even dress alike….
    Bush or Obama: The Presidential Fashion Challenge
    Barack Obama and George Bush have plenty of policy differences, of course, but does the President-elect really represent change when it comes to the wardrobe he’s bringing with him to Washington? Maybe not! Both men are fond of American-made suits, white dress shirts, and light blue ties. And you’d be hard-pressed telling them apart if you only focused on the clothes, and you didn’t get to peek at the size inside. (In case you’re wondering, Obama wears a size 40 or 42; Bush is a 44 long.)
    On your left, you’ll find our very own Presidential Fashion Challenge. See if you can tell which one is Barack Obama and which one is George Bush. It’s harder than it looks.

  6. Including this:
    Guest Commentary by Edward Cline:
    As one pundit observed, there is no such government position as “The Office of the President-Elect.” Yet, it is a measure of Barack Obama’s hubris (and vanity) that for a time he held press conferences whose locus was a lectern bearing the splayed federal eagle encircled by the fictive and powerless title, a knock-off of the Presidential Seal. The title is as phony as a three-dollar bill. Or, for that matter, as a dollar bill, since the dollar bill is just a piece of paper declared to be the sole legal tender of the land, backed by nothing but the fictive “credit“ of the U.S. government, which is currently on a spending spree.
    There was a time when one could tender a federal “pay to bearer on demand” note or certificate of any denomination in any bank and receive gold or silver specie in return. What passes for currency now is just glorified scrip and clad zinc.

  7. I have been following the US blogs on his set up of office. ‘Resident Evil’ is what they are now calling it. To bad so sad that the Americans have run their political system in the ground.
    GHB = Rhino
    CB = Socialist Democrat
    GWB = Rhino Liberal
    = 20 tears of getting their system ready for
    BHO = Communist Democrat
    Canada has PMSH and western Canada [Alta & Sask] is last bastion of Conservatives.

  8. Merle:
    Ontario may just surprise you.
    Only my beloved Alberta is polling a higher percentage of support in the polls.
    Real Canada now ends at the Ontario/Quebec border.

  9. Post by: set you free; I think you are going to isolate Toronto and their ‘free thinking society’ from us hicks out here in the West. When you got 5 million+ people sucking on the government teat it is very draining on the rest of us by a communist called ‘Mcsquinty’. Just ask the 1 million+ ‘Saskatchewanites’, it took them many years to get rid of the ‘ndps’ and elect the ‘straight shooter Mr. Wall’. Albertans broke the chains when Lougheed came along, then we ‘brain dead Getty, but then came along ‘King Ralph and kick the sh*t out them policies Kline’. Still to early to tell if we got a fence straddler called ‘steady Eddie’.

  10. Ha ha ha………..Obamba is backing out of his campaign promises? Surprise, surprise, surprise.
    And only four more short years to go.
    “”””Shuga shuga.””””””ahhhh, Honey, honey””””””

  11. Obama (I paraphrase, but the gist is correct ) “We must postpone the tax cut for 95% of Americans because you don’t raise taxes during a recession.”

  12. Several thoughts come to mind immediately whenever I hear BHO do another 180.
    Be careful what you wish for; you may get it.
    Disingenuous rhetoric will revisit your door, much like a spurned mistress.
    Reality can be like a two-by-four up side the head.
    Obama got the job by sleeping with the far left, and promising a marriage. Now the real world is putting lumps on his head.

  13. tim 40% of americans don’t pay income tax. real difficult for the big o to give 95% a tax break.

  14. We can all thank Bush there where no 9/11’s after the first. That North America has avoided a major terrorist attack. He did what an elected Presidents sworn oath commands him too. With the highest priority. He protected his people.
    He can sleep at nights knowing that no matter what folks make up or condemn like hurricane Katrina. If nothing else GWB reminded us all Government can’t do much & the President is only a man with flaws like us all.
    He may have screwed up , but he did other things well. The most important being, he keep us safe as best he could with success. That’s a good resume to my mind.

  15. old white guy, haven’t you heard? If the govt writes you a check, that’s a tax cut. If they later lower the amount of that check, that’s a tax increase. If they lower the marginal rate and you pay more because you make more, that’s a tax cut, if they raise rates and you pay less because the economy slows down, that’s still a tax increase. It is all so simple.

  16. I should have said, if the govt writes you a check, and in following years the check doesn’t keep pace with inflation, that’s a tax increase too.
    All of the money are belong to Obama. Obama’s definition of take home pay? Lost revenue opportunity.

  17. Dear Employees, Customers and Suppliers:
    When Barrack Obama becomes our next President, we all know our taxes and government fees will increase in a big way.
    As the CFO of a business that employees 140 people, and in order to compensate for these increases, I figure that our customers will have to see an increase of about 8% in our prices. Since we cannot increase prices right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here, and I didn’t know how to choose who will have to go.
    So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lot and found six Obama bumper stickers on our employees’ cars, and have decided that these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can’t think of a more fair way to approach this problem. These folks wanted change, so I gave it to them.
    If you have a better idea, let me know.
    Sincerely,
    Management
