Dion’s formal coalition does not have enough votes to win the confidence of the House.
The details of his deal with the BQ are not public. The GG cannot accept a claim of confidence in the House if the details of this arrangement have not been fully and accurately disclosed to the House.
You can either claim the BQ votes within the coalition, or fully disclose the basis on which the GG can believe confidence.
The deal between BQ and Dion needs to be inspected before we go a step further. Or, Dion admits the BQ is in the coalition.
Gives me a whole new visual on “Jack the Knife”. He’s not just a run-of-the-mill brownshirt anymore!
