  2. This commissioner should have been fired as well as the state trooper. He wasn’t doing his job. The trooper should have been jailed for what he done to the 10 year old.

    The linked article states:
    “The report was prepared by Timothy Petumenos, an independent counsel for the Alaska Personnel Board”
    If the vaguely mentioned “Alaska Personnel Board” is the Alaska Department of Administration Personnel and labour relations board then you should take note that this department was set up as described in the first paragraph on their website which clearly reads “The Personnel Board, also created by the Personnel Act, is an independent agency composed of members appointed by the Governor”
    But we can’t even really be sure that’s the agency the linked article is referring to as all it says is “Alaska Personnel Board”, and not the actual and full name of the agency presided over by Ms. Palin.
    If that was the Dems pulling a stunt like that you’d be crucifying them right now.
    Oh, and try Googling Timothy Petumenos, don’t you think that someone in such a position would have some prior Google hits? Does he even exist?

  5. That trooper was caught drinking alcohol in his patrol car, threatened to kill a Palin family member , tazered a 10 year old “for fun” and some people are still not sure if Palin was justified???
    What do you need?
    the trooper robbing banks? raping 8 year old girls?
    Would Palin have been justified then?

  6. sleven: Given that the investigator, Timothy Petumenos, is a known Democrat who contributed to the campaign of Palin’s opponent, Tony Knowles, in 2006, I would surmise that you either don’t know how to do proper internet search, or your a angry bitter leftist.

    Too bad too, because Mcain would have been a good president had he not had a psycho ready to fill his shoes the day that he dropped dead.

    Near as I can tell, Knight 99 has summed up most peoples’ reasons for voting for Obama even though he has the least experience of any candidate since Lincoln, and at least Lincoln had accomplishments in the private sector.
    Palin is at least as experienced and qualified as Teddy Roosevelt.

  23. The slightest evidence that Obama is more qualified by experience than Palin, given in the traditional qualification of of US presidents would also be appreciated.
    Perhaps an Obama accomplishment to justify your faith (without evidence, it is nothing more than faith) that Obama will be a good president.

  26. Whether Obama is more qualified than Palin is irrelevant. They aren’t running for the same position. But if you compare apples with apples – McCain vs Obama – there is no comparison. McCain’s experience makes him more qualified to be president by miles.

  32. Tim in Vermont – if I were to tell you that I could fly and shoot lasers out of my eyes, you would no doubt laugh at me and ask me to prove it. Would it not be absurd if I then asked you to submit proof that my ridiculous claims were untrue? Of course it would. If I’m going to say something outrageous, it’s my responsibility to back it up.
